No, this isn't my first rodeo-lol! Thanks for the props bro! If you ever need any tips, advice, info, whatever you need to know, please don't hesitate to ask-I didn't have anybody to give me tips and advice when I started. I learned all through trial and error and experience. I've been growing going on 11 years, so I've just about seen every issue involved with growing cannabis. WE ARE ALL BRETHREN OF THE GREEN BRO! PASS ON THE KNOWLEDGE!
@Stinkygorilla, in the UK myself trying my first grow cud u get a look at mines c if it's started flowering or is it when it goes 12/12..reading everything lol (outdoor bagseed n.ireland) if not no worries lol
You still haven't harvested fully?? I'm getting amber trikes and a very faint hue change on the margins of the leaves, but I definitely don't wanna 'overcook' her, ya know? I'm using a 10x Geo hand lens for fine examination; what's your methodology for determining ripeness? (I'm debating chopping mine soon, like this weekend soon)
@Benji,no, I haven't harvested yet. She is really putting out the purple, like Dinafem Genetics said she would.
I use a 60X-100X miniature microscope, and can really pull in the trich's up close. They are clear to milky, with lots of clear still. I'm going to harvest her as soon as all the trich's have turned milky, with just a few clear trich's.
Love it buddy just love it I like indica mostly for the Bush of it and the hight but I'm thinking I really would like to try and grow me a God damn Oak tree excuse my swearing.. like yours next year your deff one of my favorite diaries for sure lol thanks for growing all out ππππ
@Yololive,yeah I no what u mean obsessions is an understatement lol it really is fun to grow a lil dangerous where I am because its illegal but I guess that increases the fun if you like that sort of excitement I'm not really looking forward to cutting mine down either I don't know what the hell I'm going to do next since I grow outside and I don't grow inside all winter I'm going to be sitting here thinking about how I can't wait to grow again π
@simps,thanks man. I just love to grow, and have been for a while.
It's turned from a hobby into an obsession-lol! I have never grown indoors, maybe a lot of you guys on here could help me get started doing that. That would be coolπ!
Yeah the stalk just measure at 3.25 inches in diameter. She's a big girl, that's for sure.
Bro dont pay them before they return you the weed..
Btw amazing work, would be our pleasure if you join the group conversatiom, we all learn everyday π
Send a message if you wish to hear more π
@WhiteWidow, I would love to know more bro. What am I going to do with some buds that have been picked for 3 days, and not properly stored?
I definitely want to say something-and the only way to get to them, is through a chain link fence with a gate.
I'm gonna take my tow chain from my jeep, and wrap it around the gate a dozen times with 4 padlocks on it!
I am kinda leary about saying anything-if you know what I mean-legal implications and all.....
@DabCrab,yeah, definitely give outdoor a try. You'll be pleasantly surprised at the growth rates and quality-not to mention the yields. I have always grown outdoors, and never tried indoors. I guess the plus with indoors is that you can grow year round.
@BigDaddyK, yeah, if you could get that chart, that would be great! Yeah, I always try to pull the yellow leaves and branches that aren't going to do much anyway, and they just drain energy that could be used in healthier parts of the plant. I have 12 ounces of trimmings now.
Something I've been pondering recently ... Isn't it better to leave the big spiders, those arachnids you know, the carnivorous ones. alive so they can wipe out their close genetic cousins, the dreaded spidermites ?
@goarilla,yes, and what's even better is Praying Mantis-they won't leave your plant until EVERY last insect, worm, etc..is gone. You can order them online. They are great to have around!
Hi. I do not want to be a dickhead in any way, but when you update your diaries, you should do week by week.
If you change a week on your plant on monday and it will be week 5 in bloom then all your updating will be done during that week. If you want to update your diaries, add a photo or video and write in comments whatever you want.
And when Monday comes again, you switch to week 6 and do all your updates the next day to the next Monday when it's week 7 in bloom.
You can check out my Blue cheese diaries so you see, I am updating almost every day with both text, pictures and video. Your plant looks amazing and I hope you get a crazy harvest.
@growdiaries, this is what i meant when i said we need days subsection in weeks section. and days subsection must be connected to recently updated diaries on homepage, and so that followers receive update when its new day updated..
I'm sorry about those fools touching your plant. Heads would be rolling if that happened to me. All in all though it appears as though you're finishing up here with quite the giant monster of a plant. She looks ever so beautiful. You should be extremely proud of her.
Cheers!
It's on like Donkey Kong!! Hahaha! I'm just happy to be doing something that makes me happy, which I can share with people thus making them happy, increasing my happiness Mobius strip!!
Like Bobby McFarren sang, 'don't worry / be happy!!'
@Yololive,right on buddy thank you for ur knowledge it sure helped me out yeah I would have been in October wandering what the hell is going on y won't she flower lol frost would have killed me so I thank u and my plant thanks you Happy growing and I hope you get huge yields you should with a tree like that hahaha
@simps,Right on bro! Well, you just learned something new. I remember learning from trial and error-I didn't have anybody to give me tips and advice.
You're already ahead of the game-just imagine if you kept making your night time visits with the ulra-bright led light-
If I can offer any advice or tips, or just basically anything dealing with growing cannabis, please, don't hesitate to ask.
I'd be more than glad to help out peeps who are where I was about 10 years ago-save you from making mistakes that I know about first hand from experience. Happy growing-WE ARE ALL BRETHREN OF THE GREEN!
So I've been looking at my plant just about every night with a pretty strong leg headlight do you think I might have mest my flowering process up the plant started to flower erly like mid to late June then it seems like it it stopped flowering and went back to growing like crazy what do u think or if anyone else reads this plz send me a comment
@simps,depending on when your harvest date is, yes, absolutely. You need to get her back to flower ASAP!! No light!! Just kidding -lol. But in all seriousness, no light, unless she's an autoflower.
@Yololive,see I had no idea that would happen that's crazy I've been looking at it every night with this stupid LED headlight I messed my dang flowering well I'll definitely stay away from it at night time and just mess with the during the day thank you for your advice I really appreciate it It really definitely help me out so if I stay away from it it should straighten right back out huh don't think I messed my yield up much
@simps, absolutely you have. When she has begun the flowering process, ANY light can interfere with the flowering process. TOTAL DARKNESS , except for moonlight. Have you noticed any of the leaves pulling up towards the light? There you go-photosynthesis has started-back to veg in the plants instincts. Have a great day
@Benji,yes, you are correct that the autumnal equinox signifies exactly 12 hours of daylight, and 12 hours or darkness. I've found over the years, in my area, that my plants always begin to flower around August 10-18 for some reason. Just barely, but the pistils start showing up a little at a time-little white hairs where there should be new vegetative growth-so I guess that means it's stopped growing and begin to flower. I can prolong the vegetative growth by simply turning on the spot lights on the garage-that will be enough to keep them in veg stage a little longer. I've played around with this, and it does seem to work.
@Yololive,
I wonder this sometimes myself, but wouldn't 12/12 happen on the equinox? I realize the plant understands the impending change; mine still needs to show herself to be a her. We're still walking on the wild side!
@DabCrab,thanks man! She should start flowering in August, probably around the 8-10th when sunlight is less than 12 hours. That will give her most of August, all of September, and most of October to flower. I'll keep you updated. Happy growing!
