Welcome one and all to my return to growing after a few years hiatus due to a nightmare situation where my 20 plant grow was compromised mid flower by rat neighbours planning to rob me (ring doorbell saved my ass). Lucky for me I managed to move both 2.4x1.2 tents and all the plants to another location in the middle of the night to finish but the stress of it all was off the charts and I decided to have a break from it all........ Until now 🤗 I've grown blue dream before but not from seedsman so will be interesting to see how it stacks up to the Humboldt version I did last time which was pretty banging and a very memorable smoke. Wednesday 23 October Put 5 seeds in Coco pellets , in propogator and placed on heat mat. Monday 28 October (1st photo) 4 seeds have sprouted so far and the last has popped but not come up yet but expecting it to do so tomorrow. Tuesday 29 October 5th seed is up and transferred all the pellets to yoghurt pots with Biobizz lightmix pre watered with Cellmax rootbooster, had a bottle left over from ages ago , not sure on expiry date or how long it lasts but have a new bottle of canna rhizotonic en route in post for future waterings. Wed 30 October (2nd photo) Took propogator cover off and upped the lights from 15 to 25% strength. I've got a mini humidifier in tent keeping it between 60-70% humidity. The 4 that popped first are looking a little leggy but quite strong so ain't worried too much at the moment.

Thurs 31 day 8 Nothing to say about plants today, I'd imagine they are working on root system, soils still moist so will check again tomorrow morninv for a watering. Installed new mars hydro clip on fan, v impressed with it outta the box, looks quality, but will see how long it lasts. Day & night temps maintained around 22/19C respectively Humidity 60-70% Lights @ 25% Fri 1 Nov Day 9 Nothing Turned lights to 30% Sat 2 day 10 1 plant leaning abit, used some wire to hold and put lights to 35% Pots were all quite dry so moistened with 75ml rhizo @ 4ml/litre strength Sunday 3rd All looking abit leggy will try to repot soon & bury stems abit Filled 4 x5litre pots with light mix/20% added perlite and pre watered to activate and put in tent before transplant in a couple days. Tues 5th Plants looking overwatered today will get them out of these yoghurt pots, roots weren't happy at the bottom There's me trying to re use something.. Repotted into 5l smartpots but only filled just over half way. Thurs 7 Looking a lot better today now the roots are better draining.

Thursday 14th Going into the 3rd week of veg plants are doing ok but looking stressed. They have decent growth, thick stems and tight internodal spacing but think I was a lil heavy with a watering last week and they are little plants in large pots, starting to get abit drier now so hoping to theyl bounce back. Friday 15 Raised all the pots off the ground to help save my back and aid airflow /temps. Plants looked abit perkier today. Saturday 16 They looked a lot happy today and pots were considerably lighter than what they've been. Decided to give them a wee shot of rhizotonic 150ml and topped them all just above 4th node. Turned the lights back down to 30% help them recover. Sunday 17 2nd photo, They're doing ok but definitely showing deficiency signs, hoping its from my heavy hand whilst watering. It's something I really need to work on. Monday 18 Pots were actually quite dry this morning so gave them all a watering with around 3-400ml of the tripart nutes ph'd to 6.6 / 600ppm. I'm hoping a shift in the nute ratio to more of the green/grow bottle and a slightly higher strength will help them out.

This week realized my runoff was pretty high with salt /nute build up. Runoff was coming out just over 1000ppms , so gave them plain water with 20% runoff every other day and got runoff down to 200ppms. End of the week , today tues 26th potted the 4 I'm keeping into their final 20litre airports filled with all mix with around 10% added perlite. The 5th plant I'm giving to a friend. The plan now is to veg another week, maybe 2 and start lst to open them up abit as are pretty bushy and short, will then scrog them to fill space with any luck.

Ok so this week they are doing well with plenty of new growth, a little bit of nute burn on some of em, could the all mix be abit strong for them? Or maybe the fertiliser they put in it isn't mixed well idk, no Biggie anyway. Gave all of them a little defoliation of some lower leaves. The 5th plant that was going to a mates is now staying with me and my plan is to put 4 into flower at the end of this week and the 5th (biggest) will veg for a few more weeks to fill another 1m2 tent I got, rather than wait for clones. End of week have started lst on, pushing main branches out and opening them up a bit, some light defoliation also, Watered them all thoroughly with rhizontonic & calmag with a ppm of 250 , runoff coming in around 1200 , so think the allmix has quite a heavy dose of nutes for the next couple weeks. Will Flip the lights tomorrow on the 4 together and keep vegging the biggest 5th plant on its own in the 2nd tent for another few weeks.

This week I haven't done alot with the plants, 4 have been 1 week 12/12 under 600w hps (until 2nd mars fce3000 arrives in post any day now) 5th plant aka Bluezilla is vegging on its own in the 2nd tent under the led on 75%, will transplant this in the next few days to a 38litre pot and veg for another week or 2 before flipping that into flowe, I grew a big blue dream years ago and always planned to grow another whoppa so looking forward to seeing what she'll end up like. Watering every 3 or 4 days at the mo with about 10 litres or water with a litre or 2 runoff, which is showing 500-700ppms which is much better than last week. Will start feeding them the tri part nutes again as last few week's have just been calmag and rhizotonic.

This week plants are all doing well. Started to feed with the tripart nutes again along with a little calmag & rhizotonic. Watering to runoff every 3 / 4 days Blumat drippers installed now so will dial it in over the next week, My plan is to feed nutes with drippers through the week and hand water with water only once a week to clean excess salts, will see how that go's. There's been a wee bit of stretch and have done some more light defoliation and removed some lower nug sites that wouldn't receive enough light.

Week 3 of flower has come & gone without too much stress. Gave the ladies a big last defoliation to help with light penetration and airflow at end of week as they were pretty leafy Runoff was a lot lower than feed so have upped the nutes for this week. Blumats got blocked and have been a pain so whilst I'm not too busy with work over holidays will just hand water them. Pretty much no smell at all coming off them yet which is quite strange as normally by now all my other grows have been starting to, I'm sure it will come. 1st video is before big defoliation 2nd video is after Photo is 24hrs after big defoliation

Week seven flower done and plants are doing well and really smelling great, top nugs are all decent solid buds, below not so great. I probably should been more ruthless with trim but hey ho. Will feed nutes through the week them start them on "final part" late flowering nutrient for next week or two to help finish them up. Almost there

This week had some issues with smell. The carbon filter from mars hydro is complete junk. I bought a new can inline filter and a new phresh filter to deal with it. Trichomes are mostly cloudy and will be giving them water only in the next and final week before choppy chop next weekend.

Cut these down and removed bigger fan leaves, and hung whole plants upside down in tent to dry for next couple weeks. Will report back with weights then. Overall pleased but I could have trimmed alot more of the smaller / lower branches , ended up with alot of larf / smaller buds as they all stretched quite alot showing their sativa dominance. I have some clones of the best plant to run again so will dial in the next crop.

So this is the 5th plant that i vegged for 2 weeks longer in its own tent. I put this plant in a 36litre pot, under its own mars hydro fce3000, there was hardly any stretch compared with the other plants and its abit leafier as such but the nugs are big and heavy looking with a great fruity smell, it was a bit cheesy / funk smelling a few weeks ago but that's mellowed our and is more fruity sweet now. Giving her water only for the last week, Will update with some photos of it trimmed abit and ready to dry then.
