Low Budget - High Effort - Banana Purple Punch Auto
The seed germinated 24h in tap water. Temperature was around 27°C and it was dark.
Root grew out of the seed and was planted with a coco jiffy and a little bit of growing soil into 12 Weeks pre fertilized soil and 2 BioTabs (20L fabric Pot)
Plastic bottle dome was keeping the humidity high until it dint fit underneath it
The Growlight is about 30cm away from the pot and it is running in a 16/8 circle
After 48h planted, her head started to break through the soil.
In week 1 I realized that the first watering must have washed the seed out of the jiffy.
Still grew
gained size fast
Had a long stem at D3, but was potted deeper with some extra soil.
A little vent was used to give the plant some movement
This week was all about growing and gaining some size and stability. If she will grow nice and strong i might top her at the end of this or the beginning of next week.
I added 2 bamboo sticks to the pot to train the plant in the future and maybe hold her down a little
On D 15 i did it. She got topped. Maybe a little too late because the top part which got cut off was pretty big but it seemed like she was super healty and ready for it.
The topping left me with 4 small nodes to become my new main (lines)/ stems...
D17 sticks were secured with zip ties and wires were used to hold the plant down and try to aim for a evenly spread canopy
D19 more wires got added to the sticks because of new growth.
D22 even more wires
Heavy defoliation
The hard defoliation staggered her growth for 1 or 2 days, but she recovered. The lower nodes got a lil more light and get covered to soon again. i might have to defoliate her again - at least in the middle part.
Some more LST - still under the veg light with only 36W - suprised it grows that fast - could have gotten more width. Pretty happy about her resistance.
After moving her on D44, she moved again on D45 under her new light. On D46 she has some defoliation to get the light to all buds. Fertilized with Compo Bloom once.
She is starting to smell a little bit. She stopped growing but the buds are starting to swell up and get bigger n bigger. I removed some of the fanleaves which covered the lower Buds. Now everything catches light and i am expecting a even distribution of buds. Light is on 12/12 and the TS1000 is only running on 50-70% she could handle even more but electricty if expensive.
i fed her once last week with some nutrients (compo sana grow)
and from then on she gets water just as before.
on some buds the little tips of the leaves start to get red/brown/orange/yellow but just a litle bit, i guess that could be the natural circle of life or a unsufficient nutrition.
Pistls are white and yellow.
Trichomes:
1. brown 2-5%
2. cloudy 48%
3. clear 48%
might wait a little longer and flush water
D68 - had to cut her down, was smelling too hard, have no tent and no airfilter...
Could have grown her for 1-2 more weeks then she would have been perfect.
Full of trichomes, drying in cardbord box with a little pc vent.
