Reyden Starting this new cycle with 4 genetics from Sweet Seeds that I'm really happy to grow! I thank them for this opportunity to test their genetics that I hadn't seen before! I planted directly in the soil 2 days ago: 1 strawberry cola sherbet f1, 1 jack 47, 1 mohan ram, and 1 papaya zoap f1! Let's hope for good growth!
Today 4/11/24 the jack 47 seed has germinated but unfortunately the papaya zoap f1 one hasn't, I went to check and the little root is still stuck at half a cm, so I put in a second one to not waste time!

Reyden I have a little problem with the EC meter and I hope to fix it soon. For now, I've only used 1.5ml of Madame Grow's Growth Accelerator on the 3 that germinated first: Mohan RAM, Strawberry Cola Sherbet, and Jack 47... As for the second Papaya Zoap seed, just water for now!
The Jack 47 sprout seems to have an issue with one leaf; on one side it grows and on the other it doesn't. I don't know if it's my mistake or a genetic problem? Could it be that the seed got stressed because I germinated it in a paper towel and then transferred it to soil with tweezers? Even though this is the first time it's happened to me... For the rest, let's keep going like this and see how they grow these days! Sweet Seeds has never given me problems and, in fact, only great satisfaction! Let's keep it lit!

Reyden The girls are more or less in shape, I transplanted 3 of them yesterday except for papaya zoap, which was born a few days later on the second attempt, so I will wait a bit longer for her.. today I did LST on the 3 that are further along, let's see how they behave these days, this time I used the 80x80x160cm box so I have to be careful with the heights 😄

Reyden All the girls are doing well except for that little papaya zoap who has had some deficiencies that I'm trying to recover from; she should bounce back starting next week! Today I lowered the light to 16 hours from the 18 hours they had before... I'll drop it by 2 hours every 2-3 days until I reach 12/12 hours... yesterday I made a little extract from my aloe vera to help them with a nutrient boost. I like to experiment with things made from scraps that I would otherwise throw away, like coffee grounds for growth and banana peels that I dry on the radiator to keep for when I need them for flowering, which I'll make into a macerate! It should help the plants... this round I still have some of Madame Grow's fertilizers like growth accelerator, jamaican bloom, and bazooka bloom! I'm also using Dogma organics zeolite as an amendment that I had left over from the last cycle, and I found it worked great for me... Overall, I'm keeping the plants low, but I think they'll do a nice stretch in a few weeks!

Reyden We switched to 12 hours of light two days ago and the girls seem to be doing well. I basically haven't done any training except for a little bending during the second week, but then I removed the stakes because I saw that I didn't need to worry about height since they were contained... in the last mix, I added Jamaican bloom and Bazooka bloom at doses of 2ml/L and 1ml/L along with two aloe vera leaves from which I removed the gel and left in water for a day with a bit of lemon to manage pH... let's see how they'll stretch in the next two weeks!

Reyden My girls are rising and they seem to be doing well! I did a little flush a few days ago with just neutral pH water, and tomorrow I'll prepare a mix with aloe vera, crushed eggshells, and a bit of growth accelerator and Jamaican bloom from Madame Grow to give them a boost! I also did a little defoliation of the larger fan leaves about 4/5 days ago, and now I'm waiting two to three weeks to do the final cleanup... come on girls, I want you in better shape than ever!!!

Reyden We're doing well this week, just a little more defoliation to optimize the light entry points and help with better airflow. I introduced Madame Grow's Bazooka Bloom, which should be a potassium bomb, and theoretically, if I were to follow the schedule, I should have only given it in the last week before the flush, but I wanted to be generous with them and started earlier 😅 always with 1/1.5ml per liter of water. The one that was the last and the smallest (Papaya Zoap F1) has finally caught up with the other three and is even surpassing them in height... to think it was born more than a week later, the vigor of the F1 is really showing now! Let's keep it up and keep it lit! 💚

Reyden Finally, they have stopped growing in height and have stabilized, the papaya zoap F1 has caught up with the others and is the tallest of all… with a powerful and sparse structure, it is still forming quite a bit of resin at this stage.. the strawberry cola sherbet F1 is also ahead compared to the Jack 47 and the Mohan ram, which seem to be flowering slower, even though the Mohan ram should theoretically be quite fast being an indica-dominant genetic.. today I reached almost 2500 ec and I hope they all react well, especially the papaya zoap since it has grown faster and is requiring more food with yellowing leaves from the bottom, next week I will remove a few leaves for the last time!

Reyden We are in the 5th week of flowering, and the smell is starting to be felt more intensely in the room. I made an extract with 3 nice leaves of Aloe vera, which I cut into pieces and removed the gel, along with some coffee grounds that I added for the last time since they no longer need nitrogen. Together with bazooka bloom and jamaican bloom, I let 6 banana peels macerate for two days to reach about 3,000 EC and a pH of about 6.4, with the solution temperature this time at 21ºC. This will be the most concentrated PK solution I've given to the girls, and they seem to enjoy it joyfully! Continuing like this, we will reach harvest in another 3 weeks for the strawberry cola sherbet, which is the furthest along compared to the others! I can't wait 😜

Reyden Not much time left for Papaya Zoap F1 and Strawberry Cola Sherbet F1, and I think they will be cut next week... starting today, I’ll rinse the roots well with neutral pH and give about 3 liters of water to each... the other two will take a bit longer, Mohan Ram still needs 2 weeks and Jack 47 about 3! Papaya Zoap is full of resin, compact flowers but not that big, it will definitely make up for it with its terpene profile that would make any palate envious! Strawberry Cola Sherbet, on the other hand, is more compact as a plant with a sturdy structure where the apical bud is nice and big, sticky, and a deep purple color, also well-covered in resin but less than Papaya Zoap! The other two are behind and need more time, but they also promise well! I’m looking forward to seeing how they will fill out too 😄🌱

Reyden We're almost there, just a little more to go! Last week of flushing for Papaya Zoap F1 and Strawberry Cola Sherbet F1, which are giving off a stratospheric smell! The other two, Mohan Ram and Jack 47, are a bit longer and still need a full two weeks, maybe three... for them, still 1000 ppm of phosphorus and potassium, Bazooka Bloom and Jamaican Bloom from Madame Grow, plus banana peel extract in water and aloe vera extract to help the girls stay healthy with good soil working! Next week, we're harvesting half the box! 🌱

Reyden The flowering continues for Jack47 and Mohan Ram, which are growing slower than the ones I just cut! Yesterday I gave them almost two liters of water that I boiled with 7/8 banana peels, which helps in the growth of fragrant flowers. The peels contain a lot of PK and it's one of the best things to use at home to maintain good nutrition and good soil…let's start flushing first and see how dirty the runoff water from the pot is!
I was stunned by this genetics! I was lucky enough to find a super resistant phenotype, with a beautiful structure of the branches, not too thick leaves, dense flowers full of resin with a crazy smell! I love her!

Reyden One of the most beautiful plants I've grown, and I thank Sweet Seeds for giving me the chance to try this beauty! I just cut it down tonight, now hanging upside down to dry! It was an easy plant to grow and super fast to flower! 7 full weeks and it produced dense, super frosty buds... I just can't wait to cure it a bit!
I liked her a lot too! Not of size but of beautiful and dense flowers, also full of resin here, in just 7 weeks full of flowering and this is great! Now we wait to dry and tan what we can

Reyden I was very happy with this strawberry cola sherbet F1, I'm sorry I don't have my old box at the moment and so I have little space here, especially in height, so I can't grow the girls as I would have liked, but I hope to do it soon! I definitely recommend this genetic variety to lovers of purple flowers because they will surely be happy with it!
I was happy with this Jack47! It's great for those who need to relax and break away from the problems and tensions accumulated during the day, it stimulates creativity and has a smell that awakens the senses and makes you immediately want to do and set in motion interesting projects! Great hybrid

Reyden I'm super happy to cut this Jack 47 and now I'll put it to dry for about 8-10 days in the dryer that I hung in the room with 8 layers so I'll have enough space not to put all the flowers attached! Soon I will be able to say what the smoke will be like
Finally after almost 9 weeks we picked her up too, at first I had some problems and maybe I had given her more water than she should and she struggled then even if she recovered not bad..now we wait to dry her but it promises well and the smell is amazing

Reyden It was a long rinse with about 10/12 liters of water per plant but it was worth it... Soon I will make updates on the tanned flowers when I have tasted them in every way
Congratulations! 👏
Thank you very much for trusting our strains, and sharing your experience.
We hope you enjoy the harvest 👌

Thanks to the Sweet Seeds team for letting me try some great genetics! Especially the Papaya Zoap F1 has managed to express its full potential with an exaggerated resin production and terpenes that will make your nose melt! Lately, I've been making concoctions from organic waste and homemade stuff, and the results are amazing; the plants develop a complex mix of cannabinoids and terpenes that makes you never want to go back! Let's stay in touch and catch up later 💚💨
