This week majority the plants grew to the 6-7th node.
Started mainline training cut down to the 3rd node and removed the foliage below the 2nd node.
We also decided to try our first attempt at cloning the toppings of each plant
Most of the clones took well all have been planted into 3 gallon pots
The plants got the PH burn in the early week but have recovered well, LST has continued.
All look good and full.
All the clones have taken we have run another round of clones for practice also seem to be doing well
The mother plants are growing well continue with LST and topped the remaining arms that needed topping. Now to train and get ready for flower in a couple of weeks. Also started defoliating and will defoliate / lolly pop before flower
You will also see the new genetics / next grow, seedling growing amoungst the field of green.
The plants grew well this week, as did all the clones. Any extra rooted clones have been planted outdoors as a further experiment.
We moved all the clones into a Veg room. Even though the large room is not in flower and still also in veg, we had to separate the plants due to lack of space. Also setting up for mother, clones and SOG in the future.
The plants were defoliated and training continued. There are 2 weeks of Veg left hoping to have some very large plants for flowering.
Aiming for large flowers.
Plants continued to grow well some plants show signs of nutrient deficiencies, trying to address it without burning all the other plants.
But besides that all looks good and we ready to flip to flower. 12/12 cycle to start.
Clones looking strong and ready to be replanted as mothers for the next batch of clones / SOG
Plants have started show pre flowers and getting very very bushy feeding them strong nutrients mix and adding Epsom salts as some plants showed signs of Magnesium deficiency. They seem to have been sorted due The the extra salts. I am also water them heavy and allowing 2-3 dry days in between waters, just to make sure the roots get air and medium drys out completely. Making sure the plants absorb as much as possible.
The ladies are starting to stretch and flower.
We also did a defoliation and lollipop session at the end of week 2 flower.
Canopy and bud sites look good and are a plenty. Looking forward to next couple of weeks.
The plants had a good stench towards the light, had to raise the lights. All the plants are flowering nicely. All looking good now it’s a waiting game.
Also plants are very hungry between feeds as I am allowing longer dry days to promote good air on the roots. I can see the grow after at each water as the plants are hungry. Very interesting to see how much growth can occur in 24-48 hours. Plants packing on the trichomes.
Growth has been good even with serious power / lighting issues. But with effort the plants had very little down time. The heads are starting to look thicker and continue to stack and grow. Some of the plants are more frosty then others but that is pheno variation more than anything. Really looking like we may have a substantial yield in the next 5-6 weeks. The plants are being watered heavily with 2-3 day long dry periods and it seems to make the growth after a feeding just insane.
This week again had some challenges with power and humidity but we push on.
The ladies are getting seriously frosty and start to fatten up.
They all looking good but the Lemon Zkittles is most impressive. Also the one pheno of Gorrila Cookies is frosty frosty frosty.
But all the plants are looking good and stacking on buds nicely. Looking forward to harvesting in a couple of weeks. Here to hoping no more power or humidity issues, only fat and tasty buds ahead
The plants were growing very well this all was good in the hood until disaster struck and the chain holding the light broke and the 1000 HPS lights fell onto the plants and was on for 2 hours thus causing serious burn and damage to some buds. Lost most of the Cxx and some of the shishkaberry and gorilla cookies but the plants recovered well and continue to look fat and resinous as all hell.
Always issues on a grow that’s all I have to say. Not the back up has a back up as that was the furthest things from my mind.
Plants continued to mature this week and all the buds are getting fat they will have there last nutrient feed this week in prep for flushing and harvest next week.
The Lemon Zkittles looks and smells amazing looks amazing. Nearly all the plants look and smell the small, good genetics and breading.
The Cxx is again a very stable genetics and flowered and smells exactly as the last grow did. Good genetics.
The Peyote Cookies and Shishkaberry also grew well and similar, good genetics.
Afghan Kush amazing buds and very earthy smell.classic
The gorilla cookies had a rather large variation in pheno types but all look amazing and each will be a pleasure to smoke.
Final week of flower for some and we will start the harvest. Also we flushed the plants at the start of the week. All the plants got flushed and will be given the final weeks as required. All looks good and frosty.
Lemon Z and Peyote Cookies look out of this world. Gorilla cookies look good but plenty of variation in phenos
