Pineapple Express

6 Oct 24 planted tap root after 18 hours in water and 3 days in paper towel. Lights at 50% and 20 inches away from sprouts/seedlings Using (2) 3' x 3' x 1' foot deep planters and first time using WP420 from Canadian tire - soil(ish) 75 litres of soil in each pot First 3 weeks 6.0 PH water only. 6 Oct to 28th. 25 Oct. 24 first feed day and started feeding 1/2 strength and continues for next 4 - 5 weeks until about 25 Nov. 24. Lights at 22 inches and at 80% intensity Alternating 6.0 PH water with food every other day so skipping a day in-between application.

I do like this new grow medium (Greensworld WP420 Professional Grade Grower Potting Soil Mix, 3.8-cu.ft). 1st time using, holds and drains water easily. Light intensity is now at 80%. Move to 100 when in Flower. Any suggestion(s) will always be welcome!

Same feed cycle 6.0 water and food as dictated by the plant as to when. Just upped the quantity to 5 litres per watering.

Big growth week so started LST little earlier than I thought. Same watering program alternate CYCO Platinum series. I think I will try something different for next grow. What are your thoughts on PF perfect products? I like to only change 1 thing at a time per grow. I think I have a very good grasp on what makes a good plant is 3 plus month, so 1 change at a time This grow I changed the soil to Green world WP420 from Sunshine #4.

Same nutrients, just more volume - water volume increase with growth sure, however a grower for the government mentioned one time "if you want 1 pound of weed feed 1 gallon, want 2 pounds 2 gallons" Anyone talk to that to see if any science is involved.

Should be the last week of veg stage into pre-flower then to flower about another 55-60 days. Drop light cycle to 12 hours and crank up intensity to 100% from 80% intensity.

Approx. 1 gallon of food or 6.0 daily but apply about 2 gallon when water meter request water. It is a very good soaking but 2 days later, moisture meters are calling for more. Top felt a little cool to touch so may have been dampish before watering.

Just flipped the light schedule to 12-12 and started the bloom series from Cyco Platinum Series. Not sure I want to use Cyco Platinum Series on my next grow. Any ideas or thought from other growers and what you use and why

Missed a week, starting to flower nicely. Started the Bloom feed from CYCO Platinum series.

Got a little high this week, (oh and as I type/speak) enjoyed it a lot but I also find I am getting a lot done, this Platinum Cake I am smoking now reminds me of P.E, tastes great and is awesome for getting shit done around the house. For me, by doing stuff is much better than eating stuff! Grow the right strain that best meets your preferred lifestyle. These girls are doing awesome and will be worth the longer wait to harvest. Already planning my next grow and will be looking for a heavy Trichome strain. I will take the bud to smoke but all loaded smaller buds and close to the bud leave (no stems) leaves will be bucket hash. Also awesome.

October 6th the seedlings poked out and now almost 4 months, soon ready to harvest maybe another 3 weeks. Two or three more feedings before I will start the flush. Taking out the yellowing fan leaves as the leaves yellow and curl up. The final height is 54 inches and with only 2 plants in the 8 foot tent all room was taken so very limited LST with this grow. Down to just 65g left from the Platinum cake, hoping this Pineapple express will be cured by the time the 60g are gone.

I think last week I double fed as that is what the frosted tips are telling me - so I will start the 6.0 flush for 2 weeks plus. I think this grow is closer to 3 or more weeks but with the soil and the added nutrients should carry the rest of the way.I am taking all yellowed and dried up leave out as part of defoliation to get more light in side.

This is a long grow but this strain of P.E is perfect for my left below knee amputation phantom sensation/pain. I also like this strain as a day time get stuff done around the yard smoke. I do not get the munchies with any strain I smoke of consume, that is also a discipline I have mastered over time - any questions on how please feel free.

There are no nutrients added for the last 2 weeks - in flush mode. The plant on the right had a one week head start due to the seed germination failure. Once in a while that happens. Anyway I will be harvesting soon and will be trying the iPower 16 inch Bud Trimmer on the smaller buds to test it out. If it works as they say I will post a video.
