Mendo Purps Clone

Going into tank this week. Tried 3 colas instead of SOG, Looks like it worked pretty well but does grow very dense and slow from the few weeks it took the clone to get to this shape. Watering 80oz for 2 gal pots, this gets about 25%-35% runoff as the roots have not filled out 2 gal yet. I am testing in/out and substrate T/pH with soil pen to figure out feeding. Nutes were 2 tsp/gal surge with 3 tsp/gal Epsom salts for training veg alternating water only/nutes, never got to do full Buddha grow but will do the starting flower routine outlined on Aurora bottles. Surge 1-2 tsp/gal Grow 2-3 tsp/gal Bloom 4-6 tsp/gal

Starting to flower nice, grew 1" first week of flower Only watered once with 80oz with beginning flower mix ~30% runoff, will increase to flower mix w/o the BGrow. Trying to get runoff down to 10-20 and alternate water/nutes. This strain takes a long time to use its water, has the afghan hemp in it. It also is taking a long time to fill out a 2 gal but this will help me out if i want to do a 10 or more cola later No signs of stress and it is filling out with the 3 colas, my clone is also growing great as this strain is usually good for SOG but seems a pain when 2 gal pot is almost same size as a 1gal and can easily get 3 but will have to see during stretch if i should have kept the side branches down with ties, i took them off when i started flower.

Buds starting coming in, pretty sure the purple is good but never seen one pop like that looks good. The shade leaves are also very purple Watering is every 5 days with 80oz of a beginning bloom mix alternating with water. Had one of the fans on high directly on the girl and she got some wind burn, but turned it down and another off and think that should be ok but will keep checking Nutes are still with some of the surge as i try to maintain through the grow. I am trying to see if mainlining a clone with 3 will be better than a bunch of one gallons, so i am putting one of the clones i grew out the last couple weeks into the tank. This is about a 10" plant in a 1 gallon smart pot, will update and put into diary to see which way is the way to go.

Still pumping out purple, my temps are going to be this the whole time so it will interesting to see how purple it gets. Some pH fluctuations and i cant tell if the leaves are turning because of that or some nute issue I dropped water to 64oz and hope that does something, runoff was high during the first couple of weeks and might be issue. Will go to full bloom next week and see where she goes from there. This plant can have really low yield so i am trying the 3 colas in 2 gal vs the 1 in a 1 gal. The 1 gal flared out and is going to have quite the stretch, the 3 colas have very little stretch and seem to have dense buds as they side nodes are not coming off the main trunks. Maybe a 2 cola in 2gal will be the winner unless the 1 gal has a huge top bud
