Growth rate stepped up with transplant to 5 gallon air pot. 4 5-gallon air pots increase the humidity to 50% from 35% with 8 1-gallon air pots. (8 gallon grow to a 20 gallon grow)
Using nutrient levels qualifying as "aggressive vegetation." I don't see burn. I plan on flushing with florakleen at week 4 of veg in new pots before stepping down floragrow, stepping up floramicro, adding florabloom, and adding molasses. I'll flush again at week 8 before starting flower and changing the nutes a little bit.
Every couple of days the training posts are moved up and 3 -5 fan leafs have to be removed if covering a cola stock or touching ground.
Training is most quickest with 14 gauge solid core wire. The interim tools with bamboo skews, toothpicks, and stranded core wire take 3 - 5 minutes to make. My grow currently requires 36 of these training tools.
@BarrieGrower, thanks. you have fun with yours. HST is more of a stativa that's grown to 4 feet and snapped over a net. In week 7 and 8 i'm snapping the colas that are too close to lights.
@fogcitymarathoner, I hear you, been there done that. My LST is like S&M, haha. Its all good, I am just enjoying the process and having fun. Everything else is gravy.
Cheers!
@BarrieGrower, I wanted 8 weeks of veg in these pots. Week 3 I had to start 3 feminized to compensate for my 3 out of 8 success rate with regular seeds. That resulted in the final pot at week 5.
I'm claiming I'm practicing HST because for a good 10 weeks I defoliate almost half the fan leaves. At week 10 veg I had to remove 30-40% of the mainlined branches. Some branches close to the light are snapped into a '7' shape and taped. I'm getting a head start trimming the buds while the plant is alive.
Looking good ... Just got done harvesting a Northern Lights Auto & a AK-49 Auto myself. I wish you the same success.Good luck with the rest of your grow
@Mr_Weeds_Autos, I just started a July - October outdoor Northern Late. (?) latte(?)
My harvest looks good. I'm holding out for a complete weigh in after a 40 day cure.
