I planted the seed on 10/29/2024 then it sprouted out of the soil on 11/1/2024 . It's my second grow of the "Blue Dreams" strain as a beginner grower. My initial grow from Strng Seeds had coco coir and came with a packet of fertilizer. Due to the heat in my apartment, it created heat stress and I started finding fungus gnats in my grow. My first plant was found hanging sideways due to the crazy heat and I didn't have a grow tent at the time. After adding yellow stickies to my pot and allowing the coco to dry out a bit due to the gnats. my first plant was stunted and I transferred it to soil from coco. I figured it was already in bad shape and I tried to save it. I still have my first plant but its very small.
Week 3: I finally brought myself a vivosun 48x48x80 grow tent and placed my 2nd grow in the tent. The new vivosun vs1000 grow light was bright and ready to take on my new grow.
Week 4: I noticed the new light and grow tent helped a lot and I can see my 2nd grow was flourishing with its new environment. I ordered a Mars Hydro FC-E6500 grow light and await its arrival. I also added two Vivosun oscillating fans. I have initially been using a window fan in my grow tent. Today I received my Spider Farmer humidifier and installed it as my current room has a lot of heat due to the apartment heating. I kept the windows open due to the excessive heat, and my initial plant had heat stress issues. To control the humidity I was hanging wet towels and misting my plants often. Im hoping the humidifier will help with my next grows. I'm still a beginner and decided to join this site so I may gain the knowledge needed from experienced growers. This is an autoflower btw. I also changed my light schedule to 18/6. For this grow I used super soil on the bottom , and some cheap top soil.
