Report from week 1:
The plants are doing well and have reached a height of about 7 cm. However, since the stems were slightly thin and started stretching (“leggy growth”), fresh soil was added to support the stems and reduce plant height. The lamp was set to a distance of 30 cm and will remain there until the plants stop stretching excessively.
The water containers were removed from the tent, and the exhaust fan was turned on to regulate the climate. Additionally, two fans were activated to ensure sufficient air circulation and strengthen the stems. The daytime temperature is stable at around 23.5 °C, with the humidity maintained at 65%.
During the first days, the soil around the plants was only sprayed with water. Now, approximately 0.3 liters of water is given every two days to meet the plants’ moisture needs.
