Jelly Donutz winter 24-25

Dmars 12/13 Day 11 of veg. No issues yet, though I admit my environment isn’t the best right now. With the humidifier on the temp drops to mid 60s which is pretty low. With it off I can get low to mid 70s but with only about 40% RH. For now I’ll keep it off as we should be getting a decent root system by this point so think it’ll be ok. Light adjusted to 235 PAR / 15.2 DLI.

Dmars 12/23 Day 21 of veg. Lights adjusted to 290 PAR / 18.8 DLI

Dmars 12/27 Day 25 of veg. I topped today leaving 5 nodes. I think the plan from here will be to selectively top as needed for shaping, but that will be it. RH is definitely lower than I would like, but as she adds mass I anticipate it going up to acceptable levels.

Dmars 1/15 Day 44 of veg, day 1 from flip. She hasn’t been looking great these past couple of weeks. Most leaves are curled up at the edges and with burnt tips. Even with a humidifier running in the room the RH is still around 40%, which clearly wasn’t enough. It’s unlikely I’ll be able to improve the situation much more, so it’s time to flip the lights to 12/12 and adjust as well as I can.

Dmars 1/24 Day 10 from flip. Today was a good round of LST and some light defoliation to declutter the canopy. No signs of flowering yet. Lights adjusted to 590 PAR / 25.5 DLI.

Dmars 2/1 Day 5 of flower. She’s really shot up this last week and added a ton of mass. So far it looks like she’ll fill the tent about perfectly. Lights adjusted to 680 PAR / 29.4 DLI

Dmars 2/4 Day 8 of flower. Everything looks great, no signs at all of herm. There is a little bit of burnt tips from the light, but that’s the only negative. 2/6 Day 10 of flower. Lights at 750 PAR / 32.4 DLI 2/8 Day 12 of flower. Other than some occasional LST I’ve mostly left her alone. I’ll occasionally trim off the odd leaf or maybe a small branch down low to keep things from getting crowded, but nothing too significant. I’m still seeing some stretch which is good, and if I can get another inch or 2 out of her before she settles in I think that would be about perfect. At the highest part of the canopy I’m getting 790 PAR, but the vast majority is getting around 750 PAR. Runoff EC hit 1.5 with 2 waterings a day, so I upped it to 3 waterings a day.

Dmars 2/22 Day 26 of flower. Everything looks great with no issues. I’ve been completely hands off for about 2 weeks now, just maintaining the reservoir. Runoff EC is around 1.3 which is perfect. So far this may shape up to be the smelliest plant I’ve ever grown, opening the tent will fill the room with a strong gas smell. And this isn’t even halfway through flower so this could be a good one. With the stretch firmly over the lights have settled in at 920 PAR / 39.7 DLI at the absolute highest point in the canopy.

Dmars 3/4 Day 36 of flower. If there’s anything to complain about with this grow, it would be that the bud size is looking to be pretty small. Frosty as a snowflake, loud as hell terps, healthy, but little baby buds. There’s still plenty of time to pack on some size so hopefully it kicks into high gear soon. 3/10 Day 42 of flower. More of the same, awesome frost with no real increase in bud size. The terps are insane as well, just super loud and delicious smelling. While this may be a bit of a genetic freak with bud size, I have no doubts this will be super high quality smoke. I suppose that’s not the worst outcome.

Dmars 3/18 Day 50 of flower. Not a lot of change. She continues to be ultra terpy, frosty beyond all imagination, but with only a tiny increase in bud size. It may only end up amounting to a few ounces, but this could very well be the most insane buds I’ve ever grown. It somehow found a way to be both a massive W and a massive L, the greatest smallest buds I’ve ever seen. The smell is insane, smacking you right in the face every time the tent is opened with gas and candy. Very sweet smelling, and easily the most terps I’ve ever smelled in a grow and it’s not even close. A trichome check shows mostly cloudy with some clear, and just a few amber trichomes starting to poke out up top. I think going to 60 days should be just about right to finish up.
