What's up, plant pioneers! Ready for some next-level agricultural madness? Imagine nurturing a living plant at -30°C, protected by just a few ingenious insulation layers. We're not just experimenting - we're rewriting the rules of what's possible in agronomy. Who's crazy enough to join our scientific adventure? 🌱 Experiment Day 4: First Casualty 🥀 Breaking news from our arctic cultivation project - one of three plants didn't make it. The most bizarre scenario: leaves simply fell off, the stem dried up, with no visible signs of disease. 🌿➡️🏜️ The other two are doing brilliantly. One even stretched 4 cm - a true fighter! 📏 Temperature inside our experimental space remains stable: 22-24°C, while outside it's a harsh -10°C. 🌡️ Possible death scenarios: Weak genetic potential Micro-trauma during planting Individual intolerance to our conditions Continuing observation. Every loss is information. 🔬 Science doesn't tolerate sentimentality, only facts. 🚀 Preliminary hypotheses are forming. The sudden leaf drop suggests either: Undetected physiological stress Latent genetic vulnerability Microclimate asymmetry we haven't yet identified Next steps: Detailed tissue analysis Comparative genetic screening Microclimate parameter refinement Science moves forward, one leaf at a time. 🌿🔬

Grow Questions

The big burdock at the root started to turn yellow a couple of days ago, the tip is drying and bending. This is a deficiency of phosphorus and potassium on the 45th day from the nut (7th week) - or am I wrong? How to fix it?
Solved
Leaves. Color - Yellow

So my thoughts: tips of the upper leaves are curled downwards (clawing), leaves are glossy, dark green, shiny, some tips are burned, all indicates Nutrient toxicity. And i bet you are thinking "wtf, how can it be a toxicity, i can clearly see a deficiency " and you're right. The problem is you probably hammered in SO much nutrients the plant just can't uptake anything anymore. imagine, as the gates of the plant are SO crowded with soooo many people, nobody can move in, or at all. Whatever you do, more fertilizer is not the answer you are looking for. I would guess too much fertilizer o r very, very wrong pH. I can't tell what it is but it's probably the first. Only thing you can do is flush the pot. until you have like 1-3L run off (depends on how big the pot is), to wash out all the salts. best thing if you can flush with pH water pH 6 should be fine for soil, demineralized water usually got a pH of 6 (if you live in europe otherwise idk) if you have nothing else. This happens to all of us, we all did this... don't worry, good luck!
