Fellow growers! Today we're analyzing an interesting case that shows just how crucial proper temperature control is for our green friends. 🌡️
Situation:
- Temperature under the HPS lamp reaches +34°C (10°C above normal)
- Current ventilation (profit4 d100mm intake, profit5 d125mm exhaust) can't keep up
- Clear signs of heat stress in plants
- Watering with reverse osmosis purified water, 100-200 ml per session
Technical details in simple terms:
Imagine your plants are stuck in a sauna - it's humid, but way too hot for comfort! When temperatures rise above +28°C, plants start to "suffocate" - their metabolism slows down and growth comes to a halt.
Solutions recommended:
1. Replace HPS with LED lighting:
- Less heat generation
- More efficient energy use
- Can be placed closer to plants
2. Ventilation improvements:
- Increase exhaust fan power
- Add intermediate fan for circulation

On the 34th day the plant dries up from the top and shows yellow flowers instead of green ones - I can't figure out the reason, please help
the problem started on day 32 (two days ago)
It says you're giving 37 ml/gal of nutrients, I'm not sure exactly what you're giving but 37 ml/gal of anything seems way to much.
Your leaves are dark green, curling, and plastic looking so at the very least you probably have a nitrogen toxicity but without knowing the exact products you're feeding with, could be other toxicity going on.
I would water with plain water, no nutes and see if conditions improve. When you start feeding again, start at lower doses.
