germinated in the towel and placed in a solo cup with soil and holes at the bottom for the water to come out. the soil is FoxFarm ocean forest with no extra added amendments
still juyst watering with water PH at 6.3 every couple of days i was spraying but i just pour a little around the edges of the cup to get those roots stretched out
Didn’t do much just introduced to the light schedule of roughly 19-20 hours on and 4-5hrs off otherwise only adding water since the medium in the cups have been pre amended
Started stretching a bit but I understand I’m only using my 1 light for now so I do plan to raise the plants next week but otherwise pretty decent growth
I’m still only watering with ph water at about 6.3 and I did top this week so I do expect a bit of slowed growth and I may have to transplant soon ( will be my first time, mainly doing for the experience) but hopefully everything goes well
Didn’t really get any good photos of the plant while transplanting this week but the transplant was somewhat successful but the plant need something to lean against so I cut a cup as wrapped around the plant next week I will check the results, still haven’t added nutrients yet but I did mix the soil with remaining fox farm ocean forest (30%) and a new soil fox farm cream of the crop 50/50 mix (70%) in the 5 gallon fabric pot mainly because I like the aeration properties of this and the Less likely ness of overwatering and having more control of the nutrients being added at a given time.
Still haven’t added nutrients yet but plant shows steady growth so far waiting for the topped parts ( 4 areas) to recover so I can top again maybe 2 or 3 more times depending on space since I want to do minimal LST ordering the bud clips to make that staircase with the stems later on but that’s the plan… water is ph at 6.2 to kind of cater to both the coco coir and the FFOF will be adjusted later to 6ish as roots spread further into mainly coco
