This is my first grow set up and I had a steep learning curve. The natural RH in my area is around 15-20%. I stunted three plants my first go. They were autos and one even started to flower at about 4 weeks old and an inch tall. They also had terrible fungus gnats from over watering and bad soil. I refined my process and am popping 4 more seeds. 3 Frosted Skywalkers and 1 Gummy Mintz, all autos from Mosca Seeds. Started in a shot glass of water with a dash of HO.
FS#1 and FS#2 dead
FS#3 is looking the strongest.
FS#4 is looking good as well but just a bit smaller than FS#3
FS#5 is barely holding on, cotyledon can't break thru the shell casing lining.
Starting giving FS#3 & FS# general hydro flora series + CalMag at .33ml/
FS#3 fell over, I added support and turned up the light and it is strong now. Still the biggest. Purple stems
FS#4 is standing strong and tall. Green stems.
FS#5 was taken out of the tent for being stunted and then got fungus gnats.
Humidity in my area went way up due to weather RH was about 30%-40% with out humidifier. Caused me to adjust my air flow.
Using general hydro flora 3 part plus CalMag. 1ml/L of all 4 solutions. PH tested using General Hydros test kit. I noticed if I leave my mixed nutrient water for a week it raises in PH to 7 and I wonder if the same thing happens in the soil? I don't have runoff yet to test.
Both FS#3 and FS#4 are doing great. I still learning and before I explore any training techniques or topping, I just want to see how the plants grow. I've also been considering pruning but I'm hesitant as a newbie.

Pist formed this week. Plants are growing fast. Plants began to smell so I attached my carbon filter to the exhaust fan. Added trellis net to LST the branches and add support later. Using General Hydro Flora line + CalMag. CalMag = 1ml/L, Grow = 3ml/L, Micro = 2ml/L, Bloom = 1ml/L + 3 drops of PHup because PH was too low. 2 cups pf solution every other day.
Tent is full and my wife and I are happy. Giving each plant 2 cups of solution everyday. General hydroponics CalMag=1ml/L, Grow 1ml/L, Micro 2ml/L, Bloom 3ml/L. FS#3 is crazy frosty and FS#4 just started getting frosted. Beginning to plan harvest and drying.
Tent is full. Wife is happy. The carbon filter is working perfectly. I have the environment controlled way more than I expected I could. This AC Infinity set up really made it easy. I think I lucked out with genetics too. I just Google autoflower seeds and took a chance with Mosca Seeds and they have been great for a beginner. I can't wait to harvest. I'm planning on building a small drying room. I was going ro dry in the tent but my plants are not finishing at the same time. Already planning my next round. I'm thinking of using auto pots so I can leave town for the weekends.
The tent is full and the wife is very happy. Getting impatient at the end. I built a wooden dry box to dry in my garage because they are not finishing at the same time. I planned on drying in my tent but that's not going to work for the FS#3. I researched ways to seal the wood in order to not transfer chemicals or molds from the wood box to my bud It seems shellac is a good way to seal my box so this is what I plan to do this week. I will take my heater from my tent and put in out with the dry box because my garage is cold. I'm thinking the tent won't need the heater as much as the box will because the tent is in the house but I will monitor both. I'm going to get a computer fan to help vent the box. I will also get a hygrometer for the dry box. I don't have a carbon filter for the dry box so it will be stinky.
Tent is full and now one plant is drying, and the wife is stoked. Harvested FS#3 2/7. It was alittle earlier than I had wanted but I found mildew in some of the lower leaves in the tent early in week 9 and decided to harvest one to open up space. Also opened the vents and turned my exhaust fan on continuously. I was cycling my exhaust fan to boost my humidity so I didn't need a humidifier during flowering. The tent go so crowded it got too humid in the bottom of the tent. The mildew is gone now. I built my dry box. It is in my cold garage and I am using my ac infinity heater to warm the dry box. It is 45-55 degrees F and 30-35% RH. This box seems to be working perfectly so far. I will post a picture of it next week. FS #4 is having some branches collapse from the weight of the buds.
Tent is full, FS#3 is still drying and my wife is very happy. The harvest is alittle fluffy compared to the dispo weed we are used to but it smells way better. We can't wait to smoke it. I am flushing FS#4 and Gummy Mintz. Both smell very different.
