So the pots I first chose are way too small.
For Substrate I mixed BioBizz AllMix with Worm Castings, selfmade Charcoal and good Compost.
And the twin already has a promised new home since in germany we can only legally have 3 plants right now…
This week I transplanted and a few days later I topped all 3.
Also I should note that I water the plants with my fish tank water.
In hindsight, I could‘ve topped a bit later since I stunted them for a few days…
So as you are about to see, I have to include a lot of photos because the plants grow so fast! The first pictures were taken at the beginning of the week and the last pictures were at the end of it.
Also I used mycorrhiza mushrooms while transplanting
Also I made some mistakes by using fine yarn which cut into the plants stalks while doin LST and I nearly lost 2 tops through it. I changed it out now for some plant training wire.
I water with my fish tank water adding a bit of molasses for microbial life
They have been watered on the 16th of december, which has been the second time for them being watered in their big pots. All plants also had their roots pretty quickly through the pots.
I expect the watering intervalls to get smaller pretty soon.
Also, after that whacky training phase with the small breakoffs, i want to try and minimize the LST for now and let them rest for a bit. I plan to flip to flower as soon as I applied the first scrog net.
I don‘t now if I am prepared for the stretch that is about to come…
It is my first time growing anything more sativa related so… wish me luck! :D
So I made a mistake with my last update… my plants will be 6 weeks old totally since sprout on Dec 25th. But somehow I can‘t edit it back so you have to go minus one week on everything!
Whats true though is that I flipped on Dec 21st! Already they are taking on a new level of growth and already stretching longer. I was a bit frustrated while training, I snapped some main tops while scrogging because the stems were already so thick and sturdy they broke.
But in this stage that is no real problem since I expect them to explode in the next days to weeks. Already the watering intervals begin to lessen, last time they needed 5 days instead of 12 and now I think I can water them again after 3/4 days.
They get my fish tank water with added molasses, bio bizz grow, a shot of bloom this last time since I flipped and I added a bit of neem oil for prevention. But my fish tank sud water is so good, I really don‘t add much. Also I prepped the substrate so they do not need that much in the beginning to add.
I begin to really enjoy keeping this thread updated!
In this update you can see that my plans seem to go somewhat well. The plants are getting kind of to an even canopy. But now I am nowhere sure what to expect from the stretch… the PCK cross already shows pistils out the top, but I have hope for the other two to fill out vertically as well.
I also bought 3d printed plant training clamps and I really like to use em now!
