So I brewed a really basic inoculation tea and my plants exploded.
In 2 gallons of water.
Handful of worm castings.
10 ml mammoth p
10 ml colony x
5ml golden tree
10ml roots organic surge
1/4 teaspoon of molasses
Brew 24 hours.
They later in the week got a feeding with only Roots Organic Surge and some Molasses to feed the microbes we boosted with the tea. I always water using R.O. Water.
This week I gave a second super microbe tea
- 5 ml mammoth P
- 5 ml Plus C (Photosynthesis C)
- 5 ml Deep 6
- 5ml Colony x
- small handful of worm castings (Worm Gold +)
- Tsp of Powdered molasses
- 10 ml Roots Organic Surge
- 2 gallons of R.O. water
Brew 24 hours
-Small handful of Insect Frass
- Tsp of liquid Molasses
Brew 24 hours
-tsp of powdered molasses
- small handfull of worm gold + (this is food for the now bigger microbes that have been growing in the tea)
Brew 24 hours
Add to 13 gallons of water
- 5ml of OSA28
- 2 TBSP of Mykos
-20 ml of Roots Organic Surge
- 5 ml of humboldt golden tree
apply liberally. Plants exploded again - bacterial slime (a strong indicator of massive bacterial growth) was so strong it very nearly completely clogged my xl 4" air stone.
Update: 9/28
The girls got their first feeding this week. 6 days after the second super microbe tea i mixed a half dose of VegBloom Dirty. A bit of food the next feeding after a microbe tea seems to be the ticket for sure.
Also included in the feeding:
5ml per gallon roots organic surge
1.5 ml per gallon Mammoth P
5ml per gallon MaxiCrop
3ml per gallon Humboldt ES Honey
1/2 tsp VegBloom Dirty per gallon
Still the shortest and the most dense, i'm looking forward to see the bud formation on this girl. Lets cross our fingers and home for some good Gorilla Glue funk!
They didnt get much special this week. Just molasses, roots organic surge and mammoth p. They stalled a bit week 6, didnt really start putting on weight yet. We shall see how it goes
They got a pretty heavy tea early in the week this week. I included the recipe from the book True Living Organics by the Rev. Look into it.
I dont use the Big Bloom it suggests. I instead use a bit of Humboldt Naturals Deuce Deuce and a bit of the Mendocino Avalanche. These two seem to be a double whammy for organic bloom for me personally.
Mammoth P - Maxicrop were both added as well. This is the last tea they will get all run. From here on out its water with Roots Organic Surge until the last week which will be plain water.
I didnt update for a while because they stalled out on me and didnt really change much over the course of a week and a half. Not sure why but they seem to be picking back up now
The smoke on this Gorilla Glue Auto is really good. Its not the prettiest plant this batch but its potency is right up there with the others.
It has a black peppery smell to it that hits your nose and palate immediately, which is undercut by heavy notes of pine and earth. Very much an og. Not at all the Gorilla Glue foot odor smell that i've come to expect from So Cal GG#4 but its still a great Og flavor.
Density: 7/10 - They are solid nugs but have some surface squish. Not much, but its there. Not bad at all.
Flavor: 8/10 - While this is not the flavor dynamite that is the photo expression of Gorilla Glue, this flavor is very very nice. That pepper flavor is still heavy but you get much more of that old school og vibe from this smoke. I'm guessing i got a heavy West Coast OG pheno because this seems like a standard (i say that in a complimentary way) southern California Og. 9/10 will grow again!
Bag Appeal - 7.0/10. The low bag appeal number is only so because it had such amazing company this run. But this is by no means a slouch in the bag. The smell will do the work for you!
Dont underestimate the potency of the smoke on this girl. It can be unreal if you dont respect it. I smoked a whole blunt of it and expected not to get my head taken off. Lets say I wont make that mistake again. Good Job Fast Buds - another potent fast beast!
So i'm running Roots Organic 707 cut 3 to 1 ratio with Worm Gold+. The bottom half of the soil is amended with Mykos and some bottom dressing of my own devising, and Mephisto Genetics Super Soil Mix. MGSSM as i will call it from now on.
This is my germination process:
So what I did was put my lights on my temp gauge and made the tent 80 degrees. So the lights were acting as a heat source. I did this for 24 hours before seed drop to raise the temperature of the medium. A splash of water every 8 hours or so under little plastic domes made from half waterbottles. 100% germ rate.
This Gorilla Glue is a wild beast. Its super wily and has the biggest tobacco style leaves ever on this small of an auto. She's super short and squat so far, but flower hasnt really taken hold yet. I expect some more stretching this week into next. 9/28/16
Very nice man just harvested the same strain from the same breeder it's fire wait till you smoke it still have another one going right now for another couple of weeks and it looks exactly like yours short indica pheno
Yeah im chomping st the bitnfor this one. Im glad you had a good experience. Ive seen tangs run and he got a faster pheno. I want to run a tent full of these beautiful girls . But only after a tent of stardawg. That girl took off.
@Muzyk36, I've never personally grown with cfls, but from what i've read they have a very poor penetration rating. This will cause your buds to be much lighter and not dense up as much as you'd like, as with most cfls, it only really has viable grow light for 3-4 inches on the smaller bulbs, and 5-6 inches for the larger ones. I could be wrong, but I would assume that if you put one of those over each they would be much happier.
Hi, GrowCaCola! Thanks for sharing your useful experiences here! Very very nice gorillas here! 😍
Anything you need, we are here too!
