First grow. Blue Dream / White Widow. Fast Buds Autos
That's my first ever grow. I made custom setup in my 60 x 70cm closet room. I have no inline fan, only small clip-fan at the top of the room. Lights set on 25% dim.
Leaves tips start curling down, so i start feeding with more light solution. Dim is set to around 30%. I'm also start LST, but stems are very thick and it's hard to bend :(
Plants started to show signs of Nitrogen toxicity (at least i think so), so first i reduced feeding amount to 50% then i removed Grow part at all. LST every 1-2 days, with very light defoliation. Dim slowly raised to 50%.
This week they start to pre-flower. Leaf points turned yellow and leaves were still clawing so i flushed them with pH 'ed water and continued to feed along with TA schedule but without Grow part. White Widow has a lot of buds and about 32cm high. Blue Dream started stretching like crazy but without new fan leaves/buds and inner leaf parts are yellowish, so i dont defoliate her at all. Dim set to 75%
During this week Blur Dream showed signs of Potassium deficiency (thanks guys for help to identify it). I did a flush and switched to Bloom stage feeding schedule. She seems to partly recover after, new leaves are healthy, but old ones stay damaged. I don't really defoliate her this week, only removed 2 lower buds.
White Widow still is a lot shorter - 38cm, so i used a box to equalize height. Light consistent defoliation.
I skipped Silica this week. Dim set to 90%
Good week, they taking nutrients very well and buds are getting larger. WW is very short (45cm) and very dense, so i defoliate everything i can inside of canopy.
It's approx. 1-3 weeks before harvest, both plants shows some Potassium lockout issues(10% of leaves affected). Should i just feed them just ph'ed water to the end? Should i flush it again and return to normal feeding? Maybe need to try some rinse conditioner
In TA ferts, stopping "grow" nutes actually reduces potassium WAAAAY more than it does nitrogen. I wouldn't deviate from the established ratios unless you're also using some sort of PK booster. You're much better off reducing overall concentrations(aka EC) than tinkering with the ratios. I'm not convinced it's an overfeeding issue. Runoff data would confirm if you need a flush or not. Probably not getting enough runoff and building up salts in your coco.
All your plants have been pushed with Nitrogen(burned tips), which is perfectly fine up until now where you should cut back N and increase P and K and sit back and watch the flowers explode :)
All your plants definitely needs longer than 1 week before ready for harvest, at least 3 weeks longer, if not 4 or 5 weeks longer.
Plants are looking really good for a first grow 👍
This week one of my cats flipped White Widow to the ground and broke the huge fan that I'm using to reduce humidity (this week it was around 70%). Plant is alright, fan is repaired😉. Despite the flush and good EC/pH marks Blue Dream start to showing Potassium deficiency again.
This week i feed them with light nutrients (60% from TA chart) and lower pH to 6.2 problems with Blue Dream stop spreading. Seems she prefer pH 6.2 over 6.5. Probably i will cut them in one or two weeks.
