LoccoMotive My 2nd grow has really not been spared from bad luck so far. Unfortunately, only one of the four seeds of Amnesia made it through. And even the one that did come up didn't look good at first. That's why I quickly threw in the 2 seeds of +Speed Auto a week later. It was a rather stressful situation, especially since I had to wait months for this delivery from Sensi. Just to lose 3 out of 4... I actually wanted to grow Amnesia three times. Such a shame. But the +Speed was also very, very positive in all respects. That's why I'm looking forward to it. The setup will change completely again. More on that in the following weeks.

LoccoMotive This week I'm installing the new tent. When my brother moved out, I passed the big 1x1x2m Homebox on to a friend. Then the Spider Farmer Grow Tent 60x60x180cm came, which unfortunately turned out to be way too small ^^ I then sifted through the entire internet to find my dream tent. The new tent is the BloomStar Box RM - 110 x 60 x 180 cm. I really wanted a long tent. I think 110cm in length is a very nice sweet spot. So far, I haven't noticed any issues regarding the quality.
Then came the next day of bad luck. In the middle of the setup, an unbelievable disaster happened! I wasn't paying attention for maybe 40 seconds. Our cat just nibbled on the little sprouts. They looked so bad that I almost gave up. Especially the two +Speeds got hit hard. But for some reason, I stuck with it and just treated them and let them go.

LoccoMotive So specifically my 2nd grow has gone so far, it continues to be special :D
The two +Speeds couldn't be more different, I think.
One is very sprawling and grows about the same as the one from the first grow.
But the other one grows taller and slimmer, as if it just paused.
The Amnesia grows very asymmetrically. But it's very airy and quite stable.
First LowStressTraining is working on the sprawling +Speed and of course on the Amnesia.
I'm also positively surprised at how well all the ladies have recovered. As if nothing ever happened^^

LoccoMotive This week consisted of a lot of LST and a bit of defoliation here and there. I got this plant wire from Kodi for €1 for about 5m or so. Anyway, it's super soft and super moldable thanks to the rubber coating. Whether as a spreader, puller, anchor, or binder, anything is really possible with it. I also got a 100-piece set of clips for about €7. It really makes training enjoyable. The Amnesia showed a few signs of LED disease. So that's my conclusion. Since it's already grown quite large, I started giving a bit of nutrients every second watering. The two little Speeds are worrying me a bit. One more than the other. It seems like both are growing very sparsely. In my first grow, they looked better by the end of week 4. But I also know they hadn't stretched yet. Knock on wood. At least all of them are more or less in bloom or pre-bloom now. I'm really enjoying this grow right now, despite the previous problems.

LoccoMotive Meanwhile, the Amnesia has developed into a real beauty.
It's growing taller and taller, so I'm having trouble getting the +Speeds properly supported.
It's really just a few centimeters below the lamp, but it doesn't seem to mind much.
Sativa-dominant genetics can apparently handle a lot of light quite well.
There are already countless buds hanging everywhere that are getting thicker by the day.
In contrast, the +Speeds are really taking their time. It's like they've hit a pause button.
Maybe it's due to the relatively small pot size. The stretch, however, should start any time now.
Let's hope they still pull through and yield more than just 10g.
I've been doing a lot of LST again and, of course, defoliating where I had to.
Especially with the +Speeds, I removed the sun leaves so they can move a bit.
Soon, I'll be installing a clip fan as well.
That will create a little wind in the upper area.
I can hardly wait until the first crystals show up and everything sparkles :D
The Grow Must Go On 🙏

LoccoMotive Sativa genetics are apparently little divas :D
The grow is still a lot of fun. Besides putting too much money in, I hardly have to do anything.
Occasionally watering/fertilizing. The tent is basically running by itself. Thanks to the humidifier.
You often forget that sativas are essentially tropical plants. The stem structure and behavior are quite different.
Anyway, I think I've under-fertilized my big Amnesia a bit. The leaf color has always been light. But some leaves...
The +Speeds unfortunately haven't shown any signs of growing further... however, the buds are already looking really good for the short time.
I guess I have to attribute it to the cat attack. And I underestimated how much smaller the pots are compared to the first grow.
So I'm going to start watering twice as often, just half as much. And always with fertilizer. Until I notice it's enough.
Or until I decide to completely bottle them.
Right now, I'm watering the Amnesia every few days with 2 liters of water. Until the pot is light again.
I'm also watering the Speeds every few days with 1 liter of water. Until the pot is light again.

LoccoMotive So far, the grow is almost running on its own.
The Amnesia buds have developed really well up to this point. In the next grow (without a cat attack), I would like to try topping and HST. I didn’t want to stress the plants any further due to the attack, so I skipped it. The Amnesia would have really benefited from that. Then I would have had several big colas instead of just one. But the other buds don’t have to hide either. I can’t complain about that.
Unfortunately, the two Speeds have completely stopped growing. However, the buds already look good in terms of quality. At least I had some luck there. Unfortunately, it seems like there will only be about 15g max per plant.
I added a bit of Phosphor+ from Hesi in addition to the Bloom fertilizer for all the ladies. I’ll mix it in again from time to time based on feel. I haven’t quite figured that out yet.
If anything can ruin the grow for me, it’s mold. And now I just couldn’t avoid getting a new clip fan. It’s unbelievable how expensive these things have become. At least it’s doing a great job so far. But I prefer to play it safe. The air in the upper tent needs to be moved too. I’ve already had a cheap fan that didn’t even last through one grow. Let’s see how long the expensive one holds up.

LoccoMotive All the ladies are doing well under the circumstances. The buds on the Speeds look really juicy. Hard to believe in such a short time.
I couldn't help myself again. I really need to take a closer look at the fertilizing. I was actually hoping it would just work out roughly :D Anyway, I think I might have over-fertilized the two Speeds. I was a bit worried that the thick headbuds might mold because the leaves are wilting. But with mold, the leaves wilt from the inside out. I did lower the humidity a bit, though.
I might switch to photos for the next grow. Just to have more control over the entire growth process. Although I'm really worried about hermaphroditism. I've heard that autos are even less prone to herming. And feminized photos offer more room for grow mistakes. And with my luck ^^
The Amnesia is also doing very, very well so far. The buds are still growing. However, the first brown hairs just showed up there. Crystals are still a bit sparse. That means it probably needs a few more weeks. It would have been too nice otherwise. But that also means I will probably have to harvest the Speeds a bit late, and the Amnesia maybe a bit early. But let's see how the wind blows. Maybe they'll get a bit closer in terms of trichomes later on.
Here and there, I'm just defoliating a few yellow leaves, watering, and monitoring the values. I'm hardly doing more than that. And slowly it becomes clear, if nothing goes wrong, it will still be a nice harvest :D

LoccoMotive Hey there^^ The grow is (almost) going smoothly.
Unfortunately, I really burned the speeds. So now it's just water until the flush.
The buds actually don't need any more growth. Just ripening and flushing.
I hope to save the later smoke quality this way. Tips are welcome.^^
The buds still look really good. Even the side buds are doing well now.
The Amnesia is doing really damn well. The buds have gained a lot more weight.
The crystals are also getting more and denser. Depending on how things go, I might be able to harvest both at the same time.
Minimal burns here too. I might add a bit of phosphorus+ again, otherwise just water.
The Amnesia also looks very, very pale. Even paler than it already was. And this is quite widespread.
That's why I assume it's just part of the natural process.
I still want to finish the grow as quickly as possible. Because I'm already planning the next run :D
On the other hand, I wouldn't harvest too early. We'll see. The grow must go on!

LoccoMotive Moin Loide 😏
Who would have thought that something would come out of these "survivors" 😯
Every week I swear to take fewer photos.
Just to end up taking even more than the week before ^^
The Speeds have produced huge fantastic buds. 😍
Now, at the end of week 10: I would love to harvest them already. 😐
Unfortunately, the Amnesia is throwing a wrench in my plans. 😅
Her buds are already big and juicy, but the trichomes are lagging behind in maturity. 😢
There are still too many white pistils, so I have to wait a few more days.
I will now check the trichomes every day to catch the best sweet spot. 🙏
Because every day I'm getting more nervous about the risk of mold. Especially with such big headbuds. 😰
Tomorrow I will water all the plants again to save even more flavor. 😜
Due to over-fertilization, the final product might be a bit harsh. We'll see. 😴
Given the circumstances, I'm still somewhat satisfied. 😊
I actually wanted to grow 2-3 Amnesia. And now it is what it is. 😽
If nothing comes up, I'll be harvesting this weekend.
Then it's time to harvest, dry, trim, and cure. 👍
Ich hab mich in diese Sorte sehr verliebt.
Der Anbau ist wirklich ein Kinderspiel.
Die Genetik liefert einfach immer ab.
Gute Erträge mit wunderschönen Buds.

After the growth stop, I didn't expect much anymore.
But there ended up being a few grams more than I thought. This makes me happy :D
In terms of quality, the buds are very similar to the sisters from the first grow.
Funny enough, the buds of the Amnesia and the Speeds also look very, very similar.
The drying went perfectly. In the meantime, everything is in jars and Grovebags.
Here I cannot form a clear judgment.
I am aware that Sensi had a lot to do in 2024, and these seeds were probably older or something.
The fact that 3 out of 4 seeds do not germinate is probably not the standard. And it is not representative of Sensi.
I have a somewhat divided opinion on this. Just form your own opinion.
However, I am positively surprised at how it has developed.

When you consider how the seedling looked in week one, the final result is nothing short of a miracle :D
However, the quality of the buds varies a lot here. Everything from very airy to compact buds is present.
Overall, a whopping 86g came out of this. And I'm more than satisfied with the result.
All in all, I thought it wouldn't be 100g. But with 131g, I can't complain.
I can't win any awards for efficiency here. Also, qualitatively, it's more on the average side.
The grow was a rollercoaster of emotions.
Thank God! No problems with mold or pests again.
Looks like the big city does have its advantages when it comes to growing.
Nothing really lives here anymore xD
Congratulations! 👏

Very beautiful ladies. The 2 smaller ones, although small, are developing very nice, dense buds from what you can see in the photos. 💚🌱
Keep up the good work. 👍🌱
I'm excited for the harvest. 😊
@BrediniGreeny, Thanks 👍
I’m trying my best to keep the conditions as good as possible. 💪
But without going too scientific about it.
The fact that they stay so small was definitely not planned 😂
That’s why there won’t be very much from the beautiful buds. 😢
The Grow Must Go On
@LoccoMotive,💪💪 keep it up. They planned it themselves, want to surprise you with the best flavors and THC % in the end so that they get a special place in your stash 😁 Sometimes they know more than we think they do :D
Congratulations on the harvest 💚💪💪💪
Well grown 👍 and if it keeps going like this, you'll be a guru in a few more grows 😁💪
Keep up the good work 💪
Love 💚 Peace ✌️ and Unity 🤗
@Schnabeldino,
The cat wasn't doing well in the meantime xD
The power strips were already in use during the first grow in midsummer at 95% humidity.
So thanks for the tip, but it's going to stay that way for now. Both strips have red safety covers.
The Grow Must Go On
Cool setup, I've also been thinking about putting a small shelf in the tent instead of stacking empty boxes. The hygrometer on the outlet is cool, I'm just considering where to put/hang it; I have my power strip mounted at the top of the tent, maybe I need to rethink that next time, hats off!
I like the way you present your growdiary. Beautiful plants. Bravo! Only the density of the flower constellation should be more in your focus in my opinion. I think they look a bit airy. Pay even more attention to your conditions. Then that will change abruptly.
Keep it up! 👍
Very nice ladies even if the height difference is so modest. I can recommend everyone to grow photos indoors. Especially given our legal situation. I would really like to have a pure 18h veg tent where there would always be an auto as long as the photos are blooming in the 12h flowering tent. Yeah, you can only dream about that.
