TK#1 was partiality harvested throughout the week, about a branch every 2 days, to get a feel for what I like best as for trich color/ maturity. Continuing to flush TK#3 and just starting to flush TK#6 this week (week 8 for #6) (week 10 day 1 currently for #1/#3
Flushed this week. Trichomes about 60% clear, 35 % cloudy and 5% Amber. Going to leave TK #3 for a few more days and leave TK#6 for another 2 weeks while I flush it. Also had to stake TK#3 as it was falling over due to its own weight. Need to stake #6 next
Just watered this week. Have pulled all TKs down except for one TK#6 , denser mugs then the others and I do mean nugs and not buds because they are small and tight. Dry trimming and wet trimming some so that I can get a feel for what I like more and what is easier to do for future grows
Major stretch in first 3 weeks of flowering. Easily tripled in height so plan accordingly. Second time growing this strain, first time I didn’t know about the stretch and my plants were hitting the light, had to top them back during flowering which sucked. this second time growing this strain, I was aware of the serious stretch and planned accordingly. I didn’t have plants hitting the lights and was a great grow. Unfortunately Cannarado claimed there was an unknown source of pollen in his room and therefore this particular strain was prone to hermie (hermie so much that they look like straight up males) (first grow I had to get rid of 3/4 plants because they looked like straight males and not hermies). Even this second grow with this strain, although I got 4/4 fems, 1/4 of the plants developed seeds and clearly hermied at 46 days! So had to take that one down immediately. In the second harvested plant there were no visible seeds, in the 3rd plant to take down I found 2 seeds so far, so the hermied plant wither pollinated the rest or the 3/4 plant was a hermie too. Anyway that was a BIG minus for me that I pretty much wasted the first Grow but the second grow with this strain I am overall happy with it, it is easily the fastest growing/ most vigorous strain I have ever grown and would love to grow it again for that reason only but I won’t be doing that as it hermied out and I am looking for stable-as-can-be genetics. So wouldn’t grow this strain again but would love to breed it’s Vigor into something or breed out the hermie causing effects if possible.
Little recap: have 3 TK91 S1’s in my tent right now, have harvested partially one of the TKs, TK#1, and have not harvested any of TK#3 or TK#6 yet either. TK#3 has a weird but cool mutation, I like to call “Siamese buds” as ever top branch except one has two buds growing out side by side each other so close that they look joined at the hip. Will upload pics of it
