Plants are just getting started but growing rapidly. They have responded well to 60% light with a max out in/anound 500 PPFD. Will bump the intensity up next week to 70%. I have been treating my soil with neem to knock out and/or control any pest that may be in the substrate. So far so good this go. Happy and healthy…
Plants are rolling along strong. I fed them today with half a gallon each…clean water with recharge, MykosWP, and, Microbial Mass Pro. Lights have been bumped up to 80% with max at around 700 PPFD and they are at 20” above the canopy. I’ve broken the life cycle of the fungus gnat with OrganiShield and it’s a complete game charger for me. It runs circles around neem. You can spray it on the plants with the lights on.
Added High Tide also from Commonwealth Canna. It’s a dry amendment that contains all sorts of goodness that will aide boosting plant health and flower development. It’s my go to for autos every time!
The beginning of this week is looking good so far! Happy and Healthy…
Starting the week off very healthy. Only change is the adjustment of light height and the removal of Mass Pro.
I’m seeing very rapid growth both vertically and horizontally.
Plants are showing signs of pre-FLOWER, light intensity was moved up to 80% with a max 700 PPFD.
So far so good. All plants are happy and healthy…
Plants are looking very healthy. I have stopped adding Recharge and MykosWP. I have them only on water now so they can effectively eat the High Tide from Commonwealth Canna. Lights are at 90% and 20 inches above the canopy. I will be using plant stakes to hold the buds up.
Should see flowers see some flower forming sooner than later.

Going into week 6. Plants are starting to flower. They are only getting clean water for now. They all are looking very happy and healthy.
I gave them a defoliation but only the inward facing fan leaves and other leaves that could block light to a bud site.
Day 34 and wrapping up week. Plants are towering at 41 inches and steadily growing. They really enjoying the High Tide amendment. Let’s see how they do this next coming week!

Start of week 7 and all plants are looking great. Added the net to hold them later but I may take it out.
Ran into a slight issue…my plants got so tall that I was not able to provide enough PPDF to the lower stems (I need a bigger tent and better lighting…in time). As a result a caused light burn on the top leaves. Additionally, early in my grow I was using Mass Pro. That alone with amendments and I foliaged early with Foop. I believe the Foop and Mass Pro were too much for these plants to handle.
Still rocking though…
Starting off week 8 pretty solid. High Tide amendment from Commonwealth Canna has really helped the plants out. Added a 4 foot stake to the tallest plant.
Pound Cake does not need much nutrients. My tips were burned as a result of too much Humic Acid in weeks 3-4. You and learn. Besides for that issue, they are rolling alone very nicely.
