As the current grow is nearing harvest I figured I could start up some new plants to take over in 2-3 weeks.
As I have noticed seedlings doesn't require much, I'll just veg in the kitchen under the fan as it has a 6,5W led OK for growing and will keep 4x seedlings in VEG until the current plants are chopped.
So far, so good. Nothing out of the ordinary, it has been an uneventful week, no surprises and she is performing at close to the maximum capacity I'm able to get out of my plants given my experience, my choice of grow-medium, nutrients added, lights, humidity etc..
Miss PP is the biggest plant of the 4 currently being in the germination week, but they are all looking practicly identical in their total development.
No surprises, everything seems to be in order.. I'm very happy with the development of this seedling, top-level performance!
I have never tried growing Purple Punch before, but from the little experience I have gained so far this plant has:
-Vigorous growth
-Thicc stem
-Healthy green leaves
-Just the right amount of stretch to bushiness!
Best performing seedling I have ever experienced in terms of development and looks.
She looks ready to flip to 12/12, but I'll give her another 1-2 weeks as I need to transplant her to a 10l pot and want her to be able to restore her roots before she start producing flowers.
Moved her to 10l pot, 4 more days to adapt until new week, she didnt even flinch when I moved her. No droopy leaves, just kept on growing heh..
Current scent - Sweet Pine, hops and a whiff if grapes!
No pruning, defoliation, training no nothing. I expect this one to take it's time to develop as there are so many colas and bud-sites that are developing.
Explosive stretch on this one, I hope she halts soon. Judging by the number of bud-sites forming, it will take 10-12 weeks of flower before she is ready for harvest and colas are mature and dense!
The soil in this pot is recycled dirt from the last grow, ripped apart and mixed with the trim from the old plants and then reinforced with aquarium nutrients. All the plants seems to love this mix and the spongy, very soft soil, letting in a lot of air seems to be a winner, as I have never experienced such extreme development before. It will just take a little bit of extra time to get her to finish, as each cola is maturing very slowly and are thin a.f at the moment! xD
Tested a little sample and so far it's overwhelmingly pine and hops, with a sweet hint of grapes. I was going to write a review earlier, but managed to smoke some CBD and another round of GGirl inbetween, so the memory of this one has faded unfortunately. A'll I remember now is I liked the effects and slept well. An excellent hybrid, already worthy to vape, even w/o drying and curing. Will be interesting to try once the project is done!
Tested another sample, I like this one, a very happy relaxation in this one with sprinkles of naughtiness :)
Love how my hands smell of grapes as I rummage around this bushy plant, I'm used to a musky weed smell, but not this one, it's grapes, sweet grapes! xD
If her flowers turn purple, I'll trim her down after harvest and keep her around as a bonsai pet-tree..
