My first highCBD-lowTHC strain.
Uneventful first week, does look a bit shrivled up on the first set of true leaves and the 2:nd set of true leaves are also a bit thin compared to what i'd expect a seedling to look few days after germination. Not sure if it's due to her not liking the soil, nutrients or what it is, just know it's not looking pristine, yet keeping up with the rest of the plants, just being somewhat smaller overall than the other 3 plants. I'm not going to change anything just yet, and will just wait it out for now, to see if she grows into the pot and adapt. As all 4 plants currently in germination week share the same soil and nutrients, just different 1liter containers one would expect they would all still have the probability to look a little bit different, which is the case here I guess. Put a small stick under her to make her stem straighten out, so she will look perfect when entering vegetation-week.
As I write this, she has already bounced back and looks pretty much exactly like the rest of the plants, just 10% smaller, and the leaves look a lot better now as they are expanding.
She looks promising 👊😊.
Nutrients used are just enough to counter the 40ppm CaO already in the tap water, and also bolster the low 4,7ppm Mg in it by adding a little bit of epsom salt. Then a pinch of KNO3, and some phosphoric acid plus nitric acid and some micro+ 0,2% H2O2 and the mix was ready to drench the seed with 15ml of said mix day zero, then just adding 10ml / day at the base of the plant to keep the seedling happy. Total PPM: 365 pH 6,5.
She is still expressing slight discomfort, and I have yet to find the reason for her to not thrive in her pot. I fed her just tap water last watering to figure if the nutrients in the soil that all 4 plants share might be a bit too strong for her. I transplanter her to a 10liter pot and I'm gonna need to get shit in order before flipping her to 12/12 -light, so a bit concerned about this feisty lady :/
I re-located ~20+ citrus seedlings, growing in the 10liter pot to give her better growing-conditions, took roughly a day for her to bounce back after the transfer to the 10liter pot as I managed to rip off like 80% of her roots in the process :)
I'm currently planning to veg her for 1 week more than the other plants under the kitchen-LED and move her between the bloom-room and kitchen-LED to give her 7 more days than the rest to adapt & catch up!.
I'm taking her for another spin under the kitchen fan to give her 1 more week of VEG-time.
She is developing at an OK pace, but she will get one more week VEG before flipping her, to make sure her roots has fully recovered from my transfer to the 10l pot last week, where I ruined more than half of her roots.
From experience I know it's getting a lot harder for a plant to recover from changes in FLOWER, rather than fixing things in VEG, before transitioning to flower.
She bounced back quick from my xfer; she is praying and looks ready to move into the flower room on friday! 😻.
Her sweet smell reminds me a lot about her sister-strain I grew previously -Future#1, a very pure sweetness without any herbal/oregano/thyme notes, just the pure sweetness; loveit! xD
No pruning, defoliation, training no nothing. I expect this one to take it's time to develop as there are so many colas and bud-sites that are developing.
The soil in this pot is recycled dirt from the last grow, ripped apart and mixed with the trim from the old plants and then reinforced with aquarium nutrients. All the plants seems to love this mix and the spongy, very soft soil, letting in a lot of air seems to be a winner, as she looks very happy and though she is shortest of the four plants, she still has the exact same number of bud sites and set/pair of side branches forming as the other plants, she is just half their size! xD I expect her to net a solid harvest @50++G solid bud + 25+g of trim and popcorn xD It will just take a little bit of extra time to get her to finish, as each cola is maturing very slowly and are thin a.f at the moment! xD
It doesnt matter though, as I have no other marijuana grows in mind and the papaver somniferums are still just 10cm high and are developing under the limited passive light they absorb under the massive main cannabis x4 plants! As things look right now, all 4x plants will finish at roughly the same time, I just need to wait and observe.
Today I couldn't contain my curiousity any longer and removed one of the lowest branches along with all the buds on said branch, netting me a tiny 10gram bundle of furry bud-matter that I then wrapped in tin-foil and inserted into my DIY vape device parked on the stove. The first inhale was a surprisingly sweet citrus taste with zero harshness to it, just a pure sweet sitrusy scent/taste. After a few puffs and as the temp increased the sweet citrus got overwhelmed by a strong cucumber & pine taste/smell, hitting me with attitude! I calmly kept puffing, reading my senset to see if there were any effects on this CBD rich-low THC strain. I didn't notice much.. but as the pine/cucumber transitioned into a buttery hot baguel taste I could feel my hands and feet starting to tingle. It was subtle at first, but as the effect started to emerge in my face and an aura of styrofoam started to form around my present being I realized it is possible to get high on this shit too!! xD
When being done with vaping I stood up, suddenly reazlising I was fuckfacehigh in a wierd clearheaded way and I'm not sure I liked it either, as this was high to the foint where my ears got a wierd lid on them, making me take the step onto smoking some tobacco to even out the high with some niccotine. I kept feeling uneasy and more energized now and creative, yet heavy w/o being tierneered and unable to calm down allthough I now feel calm a.f!
I decided to balance things uot with 100mg promethazine, and after roughly 1,5h the high evened out to a more comfortable feeling, where I could yet again function in the realm of being at ease with myself.
As I was getting confortable I suddenly reazlied how nice it would be with a few puffs of opium, to balance this experience. Said and done, I loaded the DIY vape with just a pinch opium, dissolved previously in hot water and soaked in low niccotine, perfectly cured light-havana-tobacco. It hit home allmost imediately! the CBD, niccotine and morphine allmost seemed like they were working in tandem, helping eachother to prevent the liver from destroying this nice experience! xD 4 hours in, only refilling some opium, eaten this time everything seems as good as they can ever be. A light lemon sorbet, and I was ready to just relax & enjoy the effects!
A perfect evening/night.
**note: I'll make sure to isolate this strains trim, to turn into pure CBD cookies. I wasnt expecting this one to have such impact on my body&mind as it had! CBD is indeed a substance to be reconed with! 👊😍👌.
She is giving off a stealthy very non-herbal sweet lemony scent with just a hint of pineapple or strawberry, I'm having a hard time to recognize the specific origin, but it's a sour candy like pineapple/strawberry touch with a stronger citrusy smell. It's delicious and very strong! xD
Her nugs are slightly smaller than her roomates, but I'll have patience and see how things develop. If I decided to chop her now I'd estimate the harvest would be less than 50g and I want no less than 100 or close to 100. Last grow cycle for a loooong time now before going legit-legal opium farmer xD
She is a bushy mess at the moment, surrounded and intertwined in the chilis! But such a sweet; berry & lemony aroma :)
I removed the lower branches to get some cuttings for later use, I love the sweet, citrusy smell of this gem; no herbal notes whatso ever, just a sharp lemony sweetness!
As it is my one and only CBD strain it's going for round #2, even if other contestants looking better & still getting the chop! xD
A sweet lemon candy smell spread all over as I chopped her. Nice smell, looking forward to smoking a fresh sample from her later this evening :)
In my opinion this strain is like cut and dried for turning into strong edibles taken in moderation for an enhanced day or in strong doses 1-2h before hitting bed for some quality sleep.
High-dose-edibles made from this strain turned out to be a lot more potent and effective than Promethazine for sleep aid. And as a bonus this one doesn't give nightmares and other side-effects that Promethazine has.

Loved her sweet and fruity scent as she started maturing & all the way to harvest 👌. Mixing this one and Future#1 turned out to be an excellent replacement for my empty jar of CBD blue shark.
