I skipped a few weeks because my other diary was my focus, but these babies were looking good. I had to show them off. The milky pie is my fastest grower currently. I topped these plants once, and have performed LST. I will top the side branches and the main stem one more time once I feel they are ready. Milky Dreams is about 8 inches along the main stem, while wonder pie is about 7 inches.
Plants seem healthy, some lower growth discolored. I read coco coir should be feed more often than not and that one should not let it dry out like soil. I will be watering every other day now until run off. Plants eating way more as run off is not as much as was. Will be raising amount of water in next feed. I topped a majority of the side branching on both these plants, I have also done some super cropping and I continue to do lst. Wonder pie is 10 inches along main stem to tip of the tops. Milky Dreams is 11 inches along main stem and is my biggest plant. Wonder pie seems to produce more bud sites and truly seems like a wild plant.
Flipped on 1/15. Feeding daily with runoff. I want humidity levels to go down to 50 but I do not want to put the dehumidifier in my tent. I have an intake fan and exhaust along with a rotating fan, so I think I'll be fine with the 60 Rh it's hovering at. Since I started watering daily plants have responded fine. Actually, the milky dreams fans leaves were drooping until I started watering daily. It took like 2-3 days to get perky again. I read that in coco you need to water until runoff to get rid of salts. I do water till run off all the time but they also stressed not letting it dry like soil, as this will keep the ph at the right level. Coco coir is hydroponics. This seems to be working so far. I removed bud sites from the lower 2/3 of the plant. Kept the leaves that weren’t in the way. Will lollipop week 2 of flower.
Eventhough wonder pie has the tallest stem it is overall the shortest in the tent. Though this may be due to a mix of lst and growth rate. The Milky Dreams is looking like the biggest. I lollipopped everything yesterday. I was aiming to do it at the end of week 2 of flower. Hopefully I didn't stunt the growth. Still watering daily with 1.3 gallons.
Attempted to super crop the milky dreams as it outgrew my tent and was too close to the light. Some tops responded since yesterday and already facing up. In response I super cropped more. The Wonder pie is the shortest in my tent, but some branches are competing for the top with my other plants. I tried to position it, so the shortest stems of the wonder pie are towards the middle to raise the ppfd.
I killed the milky dreams due to lack of space and the following review is for the wonder pie.
Gassy smell only when I put my nose under leaves, hint of floral from the top. Big buds and didn’t even hit week 6 of flower. Frost level slight to medium. Big fan leaves, with 10 or more petals. Branches full of buds
