Our seeds arrived this afternoon, so I prepared a cup of water with a ph of 6 and I also let It sit out to reach room temperature. We'll be back in 24- hours to see if it's began to crack open.
Saturday, January 26, 2019
It's been about 24 hours since we placed our seed in it's water, as now can't see any cracking open of the seed, so we'll let it soak another 24 hours before we go into the paper towel part of germination.
Monday, January 28, 2019
Yesterday we placed our AK-49 in it's damp paper towel in between two plates and place them in the grow tent. The seed had actually cracked open was showing a tap root already. I'll be checking on it every 6-8 hours to make sure the paper towel is damp. I expect the tap root should be long enough to plant in a day or two.

Today when I woke up , our AK-49 seed had a tap root about a 1/2 inch long so I went ahead and planted her. I made sure that the area around the seed was moist not soaking wet and I also made sure not to plant it too deep, I think in previous grows I've planted seeds too deep and it took for ever for them to reach the top of the soil or sometimes the soil on top would be moist but the seed would be so it deep it was in dry soil and would die from lack of moisture. So hopefully we will see her poke her head out in a day or so.

We Have life !!! Lol. I've been super busy so I haven't been able to journal the way I like to. Our AK- 49 is officially above the soil and beginning to grow it's first set of leaves, so I'm still not counting days yet. She actually began peaking through the soil after 24 hours which is the fastest of all my plant's so far, which is awesome.

(Day 2)
Took pics of our AK-49 Auto today now that she's two days old from seed. She is doing great and already showing her second set of leaves, small but still showing. Other than that I've just been giving her a few misting a day and letting her be while making sure my environment stays stable to make sure she grows at her optimal rate.

(Day 3)
Checked on our little lady today and her second set of leaves are now visible, she's looking damn good so far. Tomorrow she'll receive her first watering. Only had to refill the humidifier and took a few pictures of her also.

(Day 4)
Our AK-49 received it's first watering today. She was given 250 ML of plain water with a ph of 6. She's still working on her second set leaves but looks great and hasn't needed too much attention which is great.

(Day 6)
Here we are almost at the end of week 1 and everything has been smooth sailings. She's been having growth daily and is currently working her third set of leaves. By tomorrow she should be ready for another watering also.

(Day 7)
We have finally reached the end of Week 1 and without any issue's which is GREAT !!! Our AK-49 Auto was given 250 ML of plain water with a ph of 6.1, with this being my first time growing this strain , it's been fairly easy of course environment plays a major role in our success so far also , let's just see if thing continue this way once we add nutes to the mix.
Week 2

(Day 9)
Since our last watering on Day 7 our AK-49 Auto has just been chilling out and hasn't needed anything but maybe a mist once or twice a day, on Day 11 I plan on giving her a small feeding like I do all my plants, then after I expect massive explosion of growth.

(Day 11)
Here we are about halfway through Week 2 and our AK-49 Auto was given her first feeding. Today she was 250 ML of water with a ph of 6 , along with adding 2 ML of Cal-Mag Plus, 2 ML of FloraMicro, and 4 ML of FloraBloom. I also checked her height for the first time and she came in at 2" tall. Also been watching her and making sure she is ok with the new humidity since she's been in the tent with our Northern Lights Auto which is in pre-flower and needs lower humidity, so far so good.

(Day 13)
It's been 2 days since our AK-49 Auto got her first feeding and she is still looking great , in fact she was due for another watering today, so she was given 250 ML of plain water with a ph of 6. She also has had no problem with the humidity being 40% either since she is in a tent with a plant in pre-flower.

(Day 14)
Here we are at the end of Week 2 and this lady is really starting to stack it on, Which is great because I haven't did anything to her but let her be , the light is even about 24" to 30" away and she is doing her thing. I'm hoping that she becomes a monster like her tent mate ( Our Northern Lights Auto).
Here we are in week 3 and things couldn't be better. On Day 15 our lady received her second feeding. and was watered again on Day 18. She also grew from 2.5" to 6" over this week which means she grew 3.5" in a week, not too bad. Her side branches are also starting to grow , but how tight her node space is really impresses me , she's going to be short and stacked hopefully. Well til next time growers ....👍👍👍
Another easy week in this auto's life. Very Happy with her growth this week she is now 12" tall. She received watering's on Day 22 and 26 and then was feed on Day 28. Her side branches are really starting grow out also and instead of cutting the larger fan leaves I've been tucking them underneath so the flower sites that are beginning to show get more light
This auto has been so easy to grow, she doesn't require much at all I basically check her every other day to see if she needs water but other than that she's left alone and it's been working. She's grown 5.5 " this week so she is now 17.5" and growing, hopefully she gets as big as my northern lights auto I'm growing right now.
Here we are and week 6 and with flower sites more than showing it was time for a major defoliation. I know people say not defoliate auto's but I've great success and increased yields when doing so. I removed about 75-80% of the fan leaves and basically keep the ones close to the actual buds. She's grown 5.5" over the last week also. She received a feeding on day 37 and then was watered after the top soil was dry about a inch deep. I'm very pleased with weeks results and actually think this lady will finish before my monster Northern Lights auto who has ran into a magnesium deficiency and is recovering, We shall see ...
Another easy Week with this lady. She was given a feeding on Day 46 and then was basically left along for the week. She's been so easy to grow along not needing really any attention. I'm very happy with the results of her growth this week !!!
I know I say this every week but this lady has been sooooo easy to grow she get's watered once and feed once in the week and nothing else really. I have been plucking fan leaves off as they turn into their fall color. Her buds have become so nice and frosty I have to control myself from not cutting her down too early. Lol.( Trust Me I won't). I expect her to only go 2 or 3 weeks more before harvest from her trichome production.
Another week down and we are getting so close to harvest. This lady is actually looking like she's going to finish up around the 85-90 day as stated by the breeder. On Day 58 I removed the dying leaves from her and on Day 60 she was watered and Day 63 she was given a feeding. The countdown begins .....
Can't believe this lady is almost done, she's been so freaking easy to grow and looks so amazing !!! She was watered on Day 67 and feed on Day 70. From the way her buds and trichomes are looking I think I may start flushing in week 11. Her buds are nice and dense also even at the bottom for the most part.
Been a bit behind on uploading but here is Week 11 for our AK-49 Auto. This was another easy week for this lady. On Day 74 she was given a feeding and then watered again on Day 77. Her trichomes are all cloudy even on her bottom nugs. I think from this point on well just be flushing and letting her suck the rest of the nutrients from the soil, I'll let this happen for Weeks 12 also, with the hopes of harvesting her in Week 13.
By Far the easiest plant I've grown. Never had a problem with lady at all. He buds were very dense almost like rocks, and she was super frosty. I'm also pleased with ounce and a half that she yielded dry especially without doing any training just removing the fan leaves that were blocking the bud sites. I also love the fact that she finished in 82 days from seed. I want to grow this strain again but next time I want to grow at least 4-6 plants.
