Beginner on coco drip - testing things out - Gorilla Cookies fast buds
Here's how I achieve a 100% germination rate:
Ingredients: Ziplock bag, seeds, spray bottle, pockets, 2 cotton pads.
I lightly moisten one side of each cotton pad with water, place the seed between them, and fold the cotton pads back together. Then, I place them inside the ziplock bag and lightly spray inside twice, ensuring the outer surface of the cotton pads isn't bone dry. I leave a small opening in the bag and tuck it into my pocket. The body warmth acts like an incubator, hatching the little seed like an egg. Bok!
She was my candidate for the Hydro run but she only got one of the two first leaves so i put her here instead.
She isn't my main plant, she is only in a small 4L fabric pot, its just for some experience, i will try to show everything i do and the mistakes that happen (:
She is looking a bit mangled up, hey what can i say? Getting the hang out of the coco + drip watering isn't that easy for me.
One thing i found so far is you have to start watering SLOWLY even tho its supposed to hold same amount of oxygen as water it doesn't really feel like it. Like way, way way better than soil but not comparable to like real hydro where this isn't a problem at all.
But it's fun to have and i bet there will be a ok harvest, even tho i fuck up a bit
Update end of week 2, she is doing her best in the environment
She is pushing flowering, i swapped her tent from this day and hope it will work out, even tho i have to manually water for now.
I really didn't do anything but she is still quite a big girl for the circumstances, that's great. 20-50g from the plant is enough and will make me happy. I need to manage the amount of weed i have a bit because of laws. So i don't try to make her as big as possible haha
Update end of the week, she is doing good (: i bend her down every day, so the tops are at the same height and get the same amount of light.
she looks so cute! growing in coco seems to be very fun once you got all the stuff you need to know under your hat. now im curious sicne i have to almost same age plants, on in hydro and one in coco. The coco plant with few but big branches and buds vs the also big branches but many branches, hehe
she is a bit overfed, i didn't use the 30% run off tbh BUT I SHOULD, and never forget the calmag!!
