Flixus Hello and welcome to my second report. This time I'm taking you along on my indoor journey. I have two Orange Sherbet FF. Unfortunately, in the first attempt, only one of the two seeds germinated, and the second seed was immediately replaced after a brief consultation with the support from 420FB, so there are unfortunately 11 days between the germination of Seed 1 and Seed 2.

Flixus Just 3 days after germination, the little plant was visible. I had turned off the lamp to save electricity, which led to it stretching.

Flixus I got a bit mixed up with the weeks, so I'm catching up a little here.
In the pictures, you can roughly follow along from the end of week 3 to the end of week 4.

Flixus In week 5, the first training took place. We are at the beginning of week 5. Number 1 (#1) is today 29 days old (since germination), and Number 2 (#2) is 18 days old. While #2 is only being trained with LST clips and topping, #1 has already completed all its training and will soon enter flowering. I'm still waiting for #2's pot to root and will switch to 12/12 soon. For the next watering, I'll add GHF Bloom, double the manufacturer's recommended amount. For hopefully fat buds. 🤝

Flixus From here back to English.
#1 is 37 days old today, #2 is 26 days. I tried to document a bit better this week to keep the report clean from here on. Both plants received 5G Bloom per liter of soil and were watered with Enhancer; they show no deficiencies, and the broken shoot has recovered. I have already installed the SCROG net over the plants. Upon request, GC informed me that starting tomorrow, I should set the flowering dimmer of the PWR-4 to 25%. Then BW2 to 50 and BW3 to 100%. I'm looking forward to the next 7 weeks.

Flixus Welcome to BW1, the plants are now in stretch and have almost reached the SCROG net. Starting next week, I will have to begin weaving the shoots in gradually. Unfortunately, #2 is not the same height, but I can live with that. The older plant shows slight signs of over-fertilization, which isn't too tragic but valuable for the next grows. In the meantime, GHF has adjusted their recommendation to 3G/L substrate on their site; I would recommend everyone to give a part first and then the rest of the total fertilizer amount once flowering begins. Meanwhile, a slight smell can also be detected in the tent.

Flixus Unfortunately, not much time today, so here's the short version: next Sunday will be the big day, the plants look mega and are fully stretching. I'm super satisfied and think the strain is really awesome, it's fun to grow and very beginner-friendly.

Flixus Hey guys,
Today a day earlier than usual. We have BT21 today and I defoliated both plants, there are no bananas in sight, which makes me really happy. Still, I will keep an eye on the plants. I really hope it stays that way after today's stress. Overall, it took me about an hour to defoliate. Do you think that's too radical or was the lollipopping still within reason?

Flixus Welcome to the end of BW4.
The plants have recovered well from the stress; I generally leave them alone for the next week after defoliation. Today was the first day I removed a few yellow, dried leaves. I might be a bit too cautious, but I want to avoid hermaphrodites. So far, I can say the plants have recovered very well. According to FastBuds, there are still 3 weeks to go. Drying will be done with the DryFermBags.

Flixus Welcome to the end of week 5/BT35
The plants are really bulking up. I'm currently watering 1.6 liters every 2 days to keep the Livingsoil consistently moist. When I open the tent, I'm greeted by a very fresh lemony smell. The plants are supposed to be ready in 2 weeks, I'm very excited.

Flixus Welcome back to what is probably the last week. The plants are on the home stretch and smell wonderful like lemon and lime. I think the #1 is definitely the prettier pheno and excites me with every glance. According to Fastbuds, the last week begins now with week 7. Theoretically, the harvest should be next Sunday, but I prefer a trichome ratio of about 80/10/10, so if it's not quite there yet, it will obviously stay a little longer.

Flixus Hello, hello 😵💫
After having to admit to myself that I won't be harvesting today or tomorrow, I've managed to digest it pretty well. Even though it doesn't really suit me, I won't "throw away" the last 12 weeks due to impatience and my own pressure. In light of this, I've now taken measures to really go for it in the last week; this will definitely be the last one (he said 😏😂). First of all, I've reduced the temperature, so we're currently at 19.8 degrees & 56% humidity, with the circulation and the fans set to medium. I've set the light to 100% Flower, which gives between 300-400 PPFD, with an optimal ripening spectrum. That being said, GC recommends having the light at about 70% towards the end of flowering, which was also the case for me until yesterday. However, I scoured the internet and came to the conclusion to just give it a try; the PPFD for the final phase should be between 300 & 600, so I believe that's not so wrong. Hopefully, I'll see you next week for the harvest.

Flixus I'll check in again with the evaluation of the DryFermBag.
I'm very convinced, the quality of the buds corresponds to a full drying followed by a two-week curing phase. They smell slightly of vanilla, ground up they have a citrus zest aroma of lemon and orange, and they are really wicked potent. Plus, very frosty.
During the drying process in the bag, I noticed a couple of things. The bags transpire, meaning you can tell at the beginning that the relative humidity rises, which is logical in a way, so you can definitely say that the bags are working. I would recommend laying the bags really flat; otherwise, the buds don't look very nice, more like they're compressed together. The prettiest buds came from bags that were flat on the SCROG net. I closed the bags with clips and tape, but I couldn't notice any difference; they stayed in my tent for 9 days at a temperature between 18-21 degrees and a relative humidity between 50-65%, depending on the drying day. In conclusion, I would recommend everyone to give this a try; I was convinced because the bags are reusable.
Strain is ok, but I would Not grow it again. Its called Fast Flowering but would have taken me at least two more weeks for an Indica high, trichomes were quite Not there. Smell is good and delivers some good fruity orange Terps, but not as strong as a Tangie Hybrid should be.

Flixus Grand Final with around 2,5 G/W.
Now I’m gonna cure them in the ferm bag with 19-21 degrees and 60 %RLF.
