deFharo 🖐️👨‍🌾 Welcome homegrown, underground, and organic marijuana enthusiasts! This season I'm playing in my main tent, with 8 strains/plants, in old-school pots of 7 and 11L. It's the second week of life for this second seed; I ruined the first one with a hormonal overdose. The seedling has started to show a reddish color on the budding tip; this winter season I hope to see color in some of the plants. To encourage root expansion, I've encapsulated the pot with another one of the same size, this way I elevate the original pot and allow more air to flow at the base, which also helps the roots guided by gravity and moisture at the base to expand downwards... let the game continue! UNTIL NEXT TIME... deFharo 🖐️👨‍🌾 Welcome homegrown, underground, and organic cannabis enthusiasts! It's the third week of life for this seed born at home. The seedling shows very compact growth due to the light intensity. I’m feeding it little by little with my Bio brews. Depending on the development it shows this coming week, I’ll decide on the transplant to the final pot. UNTIL NEXT TIME... deFharo 🖐️👨‍🌾 Welcome homegrown, underground, and organic cannabis enthusiasts! It's the fourth week of life for this home seed. Yesterday I transplanted it into an old-school 7-liter pot with a very elevated base; I made holes on all sides to improve substrate aeration. The seedling is looking very compact with a strong stem, and the buds are already showing color! 😍 I also transplanted the five remaining seedlings to fill my garden; now the last players/seedlings have entered the playing field, and all the seedlings are in their pots. Before that, I thoroughly cleaned the grow tent, oiled the fans, and polished the lights. For now, I'm lighting the garden with 7 lamps for 21 hours: - On the sides: 3xCOB (450nm), 1x LED panel (7700K) = 190w - On the canopy: 3 lamps, one in the center at full power (150w) because the power regulator isn't working, and on either side of it, illuminating at 50%, two lamps with good color spectrum and brightness. 250w. - For ventilation, I have two independent and adjustable extractors, and inside the grow cabinet, 5 powerful, adjustable, flat fans, so they don't take up space... let’s play! - This season, growing in 7 and 11-liter old-school pots, very aerated, I’ve raised the base of all the pots so the substrate doesn’t lack oxygen… let’s play! Geek stuff, before making the substrate: When transplanting, I’m going to bury the stem about 2-4 centimeters deep to promote rooting. I carefully scraped the bark of the stem in that area and wrapped it in cotton soaked in water with natural honey, organic seaweed fertilizer, and homemade auxins. I liked the look so much that I ended up burying the stem and leaving the cotton around... all for the cause! The soil!, sacred soil! This afternoon I’ve been preparing the substrate for the last five seedlings of the season. It’s a tough task since I have to use many components to achieve a very light and aerated substrate, but at the same time, it must contain organic matter, microbiology, and various minerals (3M). My intention is always to maximize root expansion while creating the best conditions for the absorption of soluble bio-nutrients and the proliferation of microbiology. - The substrate: I used a light substrate as a base, homemade bokashi, and coconut fiber (inoculated with MM) in equal parts, with a bit of worm humus; perlite, river gravel, and rice husk to improve drainage, vermiculite and zeolite to promote moisture and nutrient retention, and finally a mix of over 15 types of micronized minerals at a rate of 1 gram per liter of substrate (various types of clays, pumice, azomite, basalt, leonardite, diatomite, dolomite, phosphorite, wood ash, borax, etc.). These minerals, for me, are indispensable as they play essential roles in various enzymatic and biological processes. The assured presence of all the minerals from the periodic table, a unique mineral wealth, guarantees a complete and complex evolution of the plants because, after all, plants are, like us, animated minerals. Grow while playing, or die trying! 😂 UNTIL NEXT TIME... REGARDS AND HEALTH TO ALL! 🖐️👨‍🌾 ========================= Spontaneous bastard seed, born at home two seasons ago: The pollinating dad was a hermaphrodite plant of Royal Purple Kush from Emerald Triangle Seeds (https://growdiaries.com/diaries/168834-grow-journal-by-defharo). deFharo 🖐️👨‍🌾 Welcome homegrown, underground, and organic marijuana enthusiasts! Fifth week of life for this home seed. One week since transplanting, the plant is going wild, it has doubled in size! In a few days, I will top the central apex to promote branching. For now, the plant is sticking with the initial watering; when this initial watering runs out in a few days, I will start the high-performance diet. Now is the time to let the roots expand to the max in search of moisture. UNTIL NEXT TIME... deFharo 🖐️👨‍🌾 Welcome, enthusiasts of homemade, clandestine, and organic marijuana! Sixth week of life for this homemade seed. Two weeks since transplanting and five days since I cut the central apex. deFharo 🖐️👨‍🌾 Welcome homegrown, underground, and organic marijuana enthusiasts! Seventh week of life for this home seed. The plant is progressing, multiple shoots are visible, the plant tricks with its small leaves, but the branches and stem show great strength, the plant is responding very well, I think it's comfortable in its pot; this season I'm trying two new old-school pots with a very elevated and aerated base, and I'm liking the establishment of the plant and the water consumption. At the beginning of the week, a foliar application with vitamins and minerals from my vegan fruit and vegetable bio fertilizers, seaweed, or coconut with MM, and mid-week a deep watering with low EC load to help the plant consume nutrients from the substrate, I also added some dry amendments, a mix I've prepared for vegetative growth composed of: Feather meal, blood meal, fish meals, seaweed, and bones, etc... all for the cause! 😂 UNTIL NEXT TIME... deFharo 🖐️👨‍🌾 Welcome, enthusiasts of homemade, clandestine, and organic marijuana! Eighth week of life for this seed conceived at home and now growing it in the warmth of my home. Well, this plant started with good development and branching, but like most of my other crops, it showed very slow growth for my taste, with leaves too small in my opinion. Two days ago, I did a root flush after noticing in other pots a runoff with very exaggerated EC and pH levels. In just two days, the plant has started to catch up; the leaves are growing without restraint to capture as much light as possible... I'm happy! 😁 I will take care of the next watering; I will do it again with low pH mountain spring water, and if everything goes well, I will do an energetic foliar application as a fair payment for my ineptitude in this case... we’re still in the game! 💃 X UNTIL NEXT TIME... deFharo 🖐️👨‍🌾 Welcome homegrown, clandestine, and organic cannabis enthusiasts! Ninth week of life for this seed conceived at home and now being cultivated in the warmth of my home. Good for this native strain! It's already launched into life, without any complexes! A few more days and I'll switch it to flowering schedule. For now, it's a very branched plant with multiple tips that are going to turn into a beautiful bouquet of flowers! The general root flush I did for the whole garden, plus a foliar application, has unleashed all the fury of the plant that is now growing daily. I'm growing this plant in a new pot, for me, of 7 liters with a very elevated bottom, and I made holes in the sides to improve substrate oxygenation. The metabolism is doing very well, and its water consumption is keeping up; I water with just enough water for 3 days, aiming for maximum root expansion through an aerated substrate with controlled moisture. At the same time, I'm very curious to see the phenotype that this cross gives me, but for now, the plant doesn't resemble the father, and I like that. In three other crosses with the same father that I grew last season, two of the strains produced a phenotype like the father, which has a very particular bud shape that doesn't excite me, but the third cross I grew produced a super potent sativa phenotype that resembled neither dad nor mom! UNTIL NEXT TIME... deFharo 🖐️👨‍🌾 Welcome, enthusiasts of homemade, clandestine, and organic marijuana! It's the tenth week of life for this seed conceived at home and now grown in the warmth of my home! 🏠 Today I start the 12/12H flowering schedule, the plant has the ideal height, a great leaf mass, and many branches reaching for the light, but most importantly for me, the plant shows a great metabolism with its high water consumption, exhausting the watering in three days... the great flowering game begins! I love growing these varieties that come from spontaneous home crosses, and I believe that this time it's going to produce a great plant, it already shows signs of being a phenotype with its own personality, different from what mom and dad were, and I also trust that from two very potent varieties, it will give me a potent offspring as well! deFharo 🖐️👨‍🌾 Welcome, enthusiasts of homegrown, clandestine, and organic marijuana! Once weeks of life for this seed conceived at home and now cultivated in the warmth of the home! 🏠 One week since the switch to flowering schedule, I went straight from 20/4H to 12/12H. The plant is evolving very well, it's compact and very bushy, the leaves aren't very large overall, but the leaf mass is very thick. Water consumption is good, considering the significant drop in temperatures this week, and this plant hasn't had major issues with signs of over-fertilization, unlike others that have had and still have problems with this... this unique strain is thriving at home! deFharo 🖐️👨‍🌾 Welcome, homegrown, underground, and organic cannabis enthusiasts! Seventh week of flowering for this home-conceived strain, and now, growing it in the warmth of home! 🏠 The plant is focused on fattening the buds, which are very dense, water consumption is stable, and I have increased the concentration and variety of nutrients. ========================== Since I can't add custom nutrients due to a failure of this website, I will lay out the weekly watering mixes here, where no two are the same... 😁 ========================== The watering mixes I make during flowering are more complex than those in the vegetative stage, where fewer varieties of nutrients and minerals are needed. At the same time, I increase the phosphorus and mainly potassium supply, which will greatly help in fattening the colas. These balanced mixes guarantee me an optimal evolution of the plants, without deficiencies or excesses. 💧 The watering water I always use is from a mountain spring with a pH of 7.5 and an EC of 0.22. 🤒 In winter crops, the temperature of the spring water I store is around 16°C, and when I make a watering mix, I raise the temperature to around 20°C. 📝 January 20. 1.1 L. pH: 6.19. deFharo 🖐️👨‍🌾 Welcome, homegrown, underground, and organic marijuana enthusiasts! Eighth week of flowering for this home-conceived strain, and now, growing it in the warmth of home! 🏠 Final weeks of cultivation, the plant is maturing the buds, while shedding the older leaves. Water and nutrient consumption is maintained. ========================== Since I can't add custom nutrients due to a failure of this website, I'm going to lay out the weekly watering mixes here, where no two are ever the same... 😁 ========================== The watering mixes I make during flowering are more complex than those in the vegetative growth stage, where fewer varieties of nutrients and minerals are needed. At the same time, I increase the phosphorus and mainly potassium supply, which will greatly help in fattening the buds. These balanced mixes guarantee optimal evolution of the plants, without deficiencies or excesses. 💧 The watering water I always use is from a mountain spring with a pH of 7.5 and EC of 0.22 🤒 In winter crops, the temperature of the spring water I store hovers around 16°C, and when I make a watering mix, I raise the temperature to around 20°C. 📝 January 29. 1.1 L. pH: 6.25. EC: 1.5 MMA FK 2%, Bio Fruits EM 1%, Humato BonesMg 1.5%, Hydro Blood 0.25% *** Guide to Bio Fertilizers: * BIO: Anaerobic fermented nutrients and minerals with Mountain Microorganisms (MMA) and molasses. * (EM) Efficient Microorganisms. Bio Ferments with extra variety of Microbiology: Lactic acid bacteria (LAB), lactic acid, Fermented Grass (Bacillus subtilis). * HUMATO: Humic and fulvic acids hydrolyzed with potassium and minerals. KAZ: Potassium and Azomite. BONES: Bone Meal (calcium phosphate), etc. * HIDRO: Potassium hydrolysates from organic raw materials. Algae: Algae meal. Fish: Fish meal, etc. ============================ UNTIL NEXT TIME... deFharo 🖐️👨‍🌾 Welcome homegrown, underground, and organic marijuana enthusiasts! Ninth week of flowering for this home-bred strain, and now, grown in the warmth of home! 🏠 Yesterday, taking advantage of the darkness of the night, I did a final farewell watering before harvesting this little big plant, a purifying watering with only lukewarm mountain spring water and a bit of molasses to say goodbye to the microbiology. When the plant exhausts all the moisture from the substrate, it will be ready for the chop... I'm sorry! ============================ UNTIL NEXT TIME... CHEERS AND HEALTH TO ALL! 🖐️👨‍🌾 ========================= Spontaneous bastard seed, born at home two seasons ago: The pollinator dad was a hermaphrodite plant of Royal Purple Kush from Emerald Triangle Seeds (https://growdiaries.com/diaries/168834-grow-journal-by-defharo). Week 19. Harvest

Happy Harvest Day!

deFharo 🖐️👨‍🌾 Welcome homegrown, clandestine, and organic cannabis enthusiasts! 138 days since I planted the seed in the substrate, today is harvest day for this homegrown variety! 🏠 I waited 5 days since the last watering to dry out the substrate, tonight was the last in the grow tent, at 10am the lights go off, I took the plant outside and gave it 8 more hours of life, this time in the fresh February air. At 6:00 PM I started harvesting some dark, dense buds with soft forest soil aromas. Now the buds rest in a drying area with constant airflow to eliminate moisture as quickly as possible to avoid mold, as the days are cold and humid. Later, I will store them in glass jars to start smoking them at the beginning of summer... 😜 ============================ UNTIL NEXT TIME...
