First grow of 2025 - Orange Bud 2.0

True leaves are slowly catching up.

Moved to a bigger home! I can't wait to see her thrive.

I missed the chance to take a photo of her on Day 21. I flushed the soil with pH balanced water after noticing slight nutrient burn on the leaves. I plan to start manifolding later this week after the 5th node appears.

I forgot to update for a while. I am going to apply LST next week. Not sure when to top again.

Beginning of Week 6 On 20.02, day 39 I topped her for the second time at 5th node. 23.02, day 42: The four new main tops are slowly taking shape.

I broke off one of the four tops when trying to get them more spread out with a training wire, making the grow assymetric.

Continuing the vegetative growth. After a while more, I will top them one last time, resulting in six tops. The original plan before accident was to have eight. I keep removing biggest fan leaves from the bottom to improve air flow and redirect energy upwards. Sunday 09/03/25 (Day 56) - third topping! At this level, all the fifth nodes counting from the second branching out had already seen decent side growths that all the energy will now be redirected to. It's my first ever grow utilizing manifolding after only topping previous plants once and it's looking really promising.

After I took the humidifier out, the relative humidity inside the tent stabilized at around 40% I think I should put it back in, even if just for evaporating passively. I'm waiting for the current six tops to grow stronger before applying training methods to keep them more spread out. If I had a proper air circulation system, I'd probably try turning the 6 tops into 12 in the nearby future, but the thing I should focus on instead is finding a safe and effective training method to make everything grow more horizontally. I was thinking a sort of hook with a weight hanging from it to stop the upper thick stems from going up so fast. I am keeping the fungus gnat infestation in check and more sticky traps are on the way. About once a day I remove the lowest fan leaf to prevent the energy meant for tops from pooling at lower levels. This is fun

Week 9. After some more time, I expect the six tops to grow stronger and I will treat them like six tiny trees, optimally letting each of them develop three colas - one top and two sides. The internal sensors of my humidifier got broken and now read the temperature as 48 degrees Celsius, turning the timing of its operation completely manual. At least it still works. Saturday - day 69 in total: I am considering flipping it to flower after one more week of vegetative growth.

I decided to keep her in vegetative state for a while longer because I went to hospital and my GF has to take care of her.

So begins the last week of the vegetative phase. 01.04.2025 - happy 1st anniversary of legal growing to everyone in Germany! 06.04.2025 - switching the lamp timer from 17 hour long 21-14 days to 12 hours 21-9

First week of flowering. GF is still taking care of everything while I'm away. Changed the lamp timer and recalculated the nutrients. Pushed the tops under the net to make everything more horizontal. 11.04 Removed the long side branches stemming from the lowest remaining node of each top.

Week 2 of flowering stage. I will install an inline fan asap so the mold can't strike this time. Last time it attacked the flowers after they reached week 5 of blooming. 20.04.25 The first flowers are showing! Happy 4/20!

Second net installed. Airflow system should arrive on Wednesday or Thursday. I wonder how well this will go.
