Santaclaus Hey, I'm a newbie here, I'm a gardener by profession and I love all kinds of plants, especially the exotic ones. I like to learn from trial and error, so I enjoy gardening in general. Now I'm starting with hydroponics and the new Mars Hydro FC Evo 800, which is crazy for me. I've always used the typical Chinese pink lights with big LEDs and they've worked really well, but I've decided to switch because of the heat they give off, the noise, and because they were starting to fail on me... So far, I've never done a grow diary. I'm starting with 3 Lily the World, 2 Critical GB, 2 Somango 2003, and one Amnesia. The plants have gone through spider mite attacks, re-germination, drought stress, I honestly thought they were going to die... but with a lot of love and care, they're starting to change.

Santaclaus Oh my gosh, it’s so hard to get them to throw.... I’m still just adjusting pH and not adding more nutrients... I use Bac Hydro growth, Top Crop root enhancer, Cal Mag, enzymes, etc...

Santaclaus God of my life, I saved for a whole year to buy the marshydro fc 800 Evo!!! I'm very pleasantly surprised! It seems to be of good quality, the photo is taken at 10% power of the LED, I need to put on glasses or I'm going blind... It comes with the app, so you can dim the light from the app if you want.. sunrise and sunset effect, very good power, next week I start with the flowering, I wanted to wait another week but if I wait another week the Lilis will eat the others...

Santaclaus Well, as always innovating... I've taken the opportunity to change the water, before not using nutrients I've recirculated the water for 2 days with hydrogen peroxide... To clean the roots, and excesses, I also cleaned the buckets... The mix is 1ml/liter, I've had deficiencies, but it's normal because I've left the plant without nutrients for 2 days, but I must have cleaned the roots perfectly and getting it ready for flowering nutrients...

Santaclaus They are asking me for magnesium like crazy, besides fertilizing with cal mag through irrigation, I’ve also done foliar feeding... I also took the opportunity to add delta 9,... 5ml per liter... The stems of the plants and some leaves are red, some say that's genetics..., but my genetics aren't red... It's a magnesium deficiency due to the power of the LED... It creates magnesium deficits, I also had this issue with Chinese LEDs, but the light was pink and you couldn't really tell... So I want to dig into this topic, I believe it's a magnesium deficiency due to the LED light, the plant can't keep up with so many lumens and creates deficiencies... Tomorrow and the day after tomorrow I will do foliar feeding, just with magnesium to see what happens....

Santaclaus Well, I'm starting week 3, day 15, with some red LEDs that Marshydro gave me when I bought the FC800 Evo, I think that's what it's called 😜 it's a real beast. I can't even imagine what the red LEDs can do. In theory, the red light, besides ripening the fruits, fattening them up, and adding flavor, also helps the new stems that are lower down and receive less light to grow. The deep red light gives energy to those buds so they can grow and seek the white light... Anyway.. I want to see if the hidden branches grow... I've also added CO2, two bubbles every second.. I don't want to overdo it, because adding too much magnesium has given me a bit of an excess. I've corrected it by adding more water to the reservoir, and with the help of CO2, it will make the plants eat more, and I'll correct the magnesium excess sooner, in theory hehehe 😅😅 all in theory.

Santaclaus Ho-ho-ho 👩🏾🌾👩🏾🌾🤶🏾🤶🏾🤶🏾🌳🌳🌲🌲 Hello bud community!!! I'm starting week 4, lowering ppm in water to 450, if I raise it more I get excesses, honestly I can't find the logic... They're very low on nutrients for the week I'm in... I don't understand anything... anyway, by adding more, I caused excesses, and I'll keep this week's ppm very low at 450, so they can recover... and I'll keep the CO2 at 600ppm, they've more or less slowed down growth or so I think... if they keep growing, I'll bend them as I can... I have no other choice... I also want to say that the 3 Lili at the end and the amnesia in the central right part have grown like crazy, while the somango are growing at their normal indica pace... the two kritical have suffered more from the re-flowering and spider mite attack, and they haven't formed well... On the other hand, the Lili and amnesia have been pushing like good sativas...

Santaclaus Day 29, I'm already a bit amazed, it's day 29 and they just keep growing... I've changed the water and tried to raise the ppm a bit, but it gives me excess... So I've decided to keep it low at 300ppm and I think I'll leave it like that until the end... They have cleaning enzymes that break down the nutrients, so I'll let them self-feed because they're doing super well... Let's see if they get hungry... but I don't see that happening... anyway, I don't want to overdo it with the nutrients, they're super green and pretty, and they're flowering like crazy, so I'll let them consume some of the nutrients from the leaves...
Day 36 I see that they're starting to show signs of magnesium and calcium deficiency, I've added, I don't know, a crazy amount of magnesium and calcium, also molasses, fulvic and humic acids, and quite a bit of pk... I raised it from 150ppm to 400ppm and saw that they were eating it quickly and the leaves were rising, but in the back I noticed that the leaves were starting to burn and some hairs were lacking magnesium and calcium, so I went a bit crazy... From 400ppm to 800ppm, it's loaded to the max... I hope I don't cause any excess now... Tomorrow I'll check how they react to the boost I've given them, they're going full throttle, if I see they have excess, there's no other choice but to lower the ppm by removing and adding clean water, and if I see they're doing well, I'll leave them... In theory, I'm low on ppm, I should be at 1200ppm at a minimum, for the week I'm in and more if I add co2... But well, I'll stick with 800ppm, if I see they're doing well, I'll leave it, if I see they need more, I'll add it, for now, tomorrow I'll investigate... 😅😅
Day 37 no matter how much I added yesterday, more magnesium, fulvic acids, etc... I haven't seen any change... So I've gone back to digging into the topic... And I think they actually have deficiencies besides magnesium and calcium, they were lacking phosphorus and potassium, so of course, I went a bit crazy adding pk... I had a ppm of 450, I raised it to 800 and the leaves started to rise, they were looking a bit dull... So I got carried away and hit them with almost 1400 ppm all at once... So tomorrow it's one of two things, either they're burned from excess (which wouldn't surprise me...) or the leaves are reaching for the light and fattening up like crazy... Well, as I said at the beginning of the diary, I learn from mistakes and successes... And well, I already know that in the 3rd week of flowering they need magnesium, calcium, and pk, the calcium magnesium I had contained nitrogen and gave me excess, that's why they were a bit claw-like... This time I've bought calmag from biobizz which is organic and doesn't contain nitrogen, or that's what I understood... But if it does, it will be organic... Anyway, I hope that in the k1 phase I don't have too many nutrition problems, I've bought an all-organic biobizz pack...

Santaclaus Day 40, I've been having deficiencies in calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, and potassium, and I realized it a bit late... The leaves were drooping and turning yellow with brown spots... I gave them calmag and they started reaching for the light... I also noticed that the Lilies I couldn't see were getting purple leaves, I thought it was excess nitrogen, but it was actually phosphorus and potassium... So, what I didn't want to do, I've done—I loaded them up with nutrients and more... I hope I don't mess it up anymore...

Santaclaus Last week, I did a root wash and added clean water. In summary, it’s been crazy; each one is at its own pace in flowering. Some have already finished flowering, others are halfway through, and some have just started to fatten up the buds... I'm doing a wash, but it's a shame to have such different varieties, even from the same strain like the Lili, and some have flowered much earlier than others... So, in the root wash, some will have done well in flowering, others halfway through, and others like the Amnesia that are 70 days... Next time I'll try to at least do them all either sativas or all indicas. Mixing such different varieties has been a madness, especially in growth. I've gone through everything, even with the hydroponic system; my drains got clogged because of a small tube. I’ll have to invent another mechanism for the drainage... This last week I did a root wash with a final flush, and I adjusted the pH to 6.2 with tap and rainwater. I also added cleaning enzymes, so they'll be in there for a week, and if I see they turn nice and yellow, I’ll sharpen the scissors... I want them to be super clean so they taste really good...
