Bubba Kush

Started this bubba 5 days ago from seed. Once the tap root makes its way to the bottom of the cup ill be moving this girl to a 10gal fabric pot.

So far so good, and no major issues. Held off on placing into the final 10g pot until i get some more root growth. The stem has toughened up with the help of my desk fan and im looking forward to starting the feedings come day 1 of week 3.

A lot went on this week. I moved the seedling out of the cardboard cup and into a beer cup. Began feeding with the remo line of nutes, iv had some decent success in the passed grow starting to use the nutes late in veg so im looking forward to seeing how this plant works with the nutes. Once the root mass is greater ill be transplanting to a 10gal pot under 1000w LED and ill be topping and scrogging.

Week 4 was an exciting one this bubba kush gal. Day 4 she was moved from the seedling tent to the 4x4 tent under a 1000w LED. Day 7 of week 4 i have begun to LST. Hoping the new scrog net will be in next week and i can get that set up before she takes off.

After moving this bubba kush to a 10 gallon pot I gave it a couple days to recover before bending the top over and securing it. The plant recovered very well. The side branches are coming along and im looking forward to watching this thing grow.

Not a whole lot of excitement thos week with the bubba. I did do some defoliation to allow light to hit the side branching. Just after a ccouple days they are already showing growth. Ordered a better quality trellis net and hope to soon get that installed. Also picked up a white cookies clone from a buddy ill also be growing this out in the 4x4 tent, just for a little variety.

The new trellis net arrived on time and was super easy to install and set up. The girl is loving it and taking to the training and tucking well. Im at full strength for both nutes and will continue for a few more weeks before flipping my lights to 12/12.

This will be the last week of veg for this bubba kush. There are a good number of strong looking side branches that i hope will produce nice colas. On the last day of the week i gave it a just water feed and then flipped the light schedule to 12/12 and i will begin a flower feeding sched early to middle of week 9.

This was the first week of a 12/12 light cycle and things are looking good so far. The net has been moved up a little and the tops are starting to show. Im now using the remo bloom and astro bud along with the micro. Starting next week I will be adding molasses to my water on non feeding days.

Week 2 of flower is going well. The light has beem brought down to about 14 inches or so and i have not had any issues. She's drinking a lot more during feedings. With summer around the corner ill be installing a new ventilation system in the next couple weeks.

Starting to drop the night time temps down a but but keeping the total change from day to night with in reason. The stretch is coming to an end and the bud sites are showing a lot of pistils. A lot of frost on the sugar leaves already. Things are looking good so far.

Another week in the books. A lot of tricomb development this week and man is this girl frosty. The smell is mild within the tent but a lot of citrus terpenes when you put your nose to the top. Still feeding at full strength using distilled water. My soil is a little alkaline so i have been slowly adding ph down when i water so that the ph sits about 6.5 or slightly less. So far shes growing along nicely.

Another good week in the books. She's doing well and taking very kindly to the nutrients at full strength. Now officially into the middle of week 5 im thinking the plant may see week 10 or even 11. But only time will tell

So officially this is week 7 of flower and things have been going really well. The bubba has taken to the full dose feedings well with very little sign of burn. Lots and lots of tricomb production and the actual buds are beginning to stack up. I am hoping for some nice dense nugs by the end.

So week 8 is upon us now. According to the breeder this should be a 9wk flower but im gunna say 10 weeks min by the looks of things. I know it's a bit late but I have been adding 2mL or so (1 tsp) of molases for the last 2 waterings. One with nutes and one without. The tips are showing little bit of what looks like nute burn but could just be the fade beginning. Not sure if I will do another feeding or not but itll depend how much longer it will need

Rolling into wk 9 of the flower and we are really beginning to get that sweet pungent smell when i open my tent. Few new pistils have popped out as most of the others have gone amber. Looking at some close up zoomed in pics i saw the most of the tricombs are still infact clear. I gave the last feeding of nutes the night before day 1 of wk 9 so ill now be giving nothing but 0ppm water until i harvest.

Week 10 now and we are getting close. Most of the pistils are amber and the tricombs are getting milky. Looking at another 7-9 days maybe. The flush began last week and its been 2 feedings now with just 0ppm distilled water. Some purple coming out on some of the leaves as well.

Well we are now down to the last 5 days. 48hrs of darkness will begin in 2 days then on to the chopping and hanging. Been a great grow so far and i will be growing this strain again.

Overall i didn't get the yeild i was hoping for. I think my light may need to ne upgraded to get the bud quality and size im looking for. But all in all this strain grew very well. I did notice the plant stopped growing in about wk 5 ish of veg so the scrog method wouldnt be recommended for this strain. Very strong pungent smell and super super frosty. I would grow this strain again for sure
