So far, so good. Healthy growth and a pretty uniform growth pattern. They were all in smaller pots before, so they didn’t have much space to grow out too much for now. The biggest one in the front was transplanted in Week 3, so she’s already a bit taller. The other two smaller ones were transplanted in Week 4 – I hope they can catch up to No. 1. I’m planning to switch to 12/12 in 2 weeks.
They’re all being fed with BioBizz at 2 ml/L, 2 to 3 times a week while using 1 Liter per Plant.
I’m not sure whether I should top them or use LST. What do you think?
#Girlfriends grow
I think I might have shocked them by transplanting them into new pots. Maybe I even overwatered them right after transplanting. I gave each plant 1 liter of water immediately after the transplant, which seems to have been too much for the smaller ones.
Today, the soil felt quite light again, so I decided to water them with only half a liter each. Hopefully, this will do the trick, and I can start giving them more water and nutrients in a few days.
Last week of vegetation! The plants are doing well again. The smallest one has finally overcome the transplantation shock. I believe the root cause of its problems wasn’t just the transplantation itself, but also overwatering and excessively strong lighting. Initially, I moved them from tent 1 (200W lights at 40%) to tent 2 (100W lights at 100%), thinking it would be fine. While the other two plants adapted well, the smallest one only recovered after I adjusted the light intensity. Even though I lost a week, I’ve learned an important lesson from this experience.
4 days 18-hours cycle to go—then I’ll switch to a 12-hour light cycle.
After a few stress-free days, I decided to flip the plants to a 12/12 light cycle. Let’s see if they stay small enough for the tent! They are healthy and received their first dose of bloom nutrients today.
The plants are happy and healthy. They’re still stretching, and I hope they stop soon—otherwise, I’ll have to reorganize the light and filter in the tent.
Not many signs of flowering yet, even after eight days since the flip, but I’ve spotted some pistils! I’ve updated the feeding schedule to match the BioBizz plan for week 2, increasing the BioBloom dosage.
From a grower’s perspective, I really like this genetic. The plants are happy and seem to be "praying" most of the time. My light is only 100W, but they are thriving!
If the final result is as good as the growing experience, I will definitely grow this strain again. I really hope the stretch stops this week, as my lights are already at their highest position, and I don’t want to use HST on the main stem.
I have to mention that I removed a few fan leaves this week. They were blocking bud sites, so it was time for them to go.
Exciting grow!
The plants are healthy and still thriving. The stretch has stopped! The top colas are a bit too close to the light, but I’ll leave them as they are. Maybe I’ll tie them to the corners to increase the distance, but I won’t use HST. I’ve increased the nutrients according to the schedule. Four weeks to go!
This week, I had to tie #1 to a corner so it wouldn’t get fried by the light. All in all, this grow hasn’t caused any major problems, and the plants are thriving. You can clearly see the progress from week to week!
The only suboptimal thing I’ve noticed is the water consumption of #3—she doesn’t drink much. Earlier in this grow, she was also the one that looked droopy and unhappy. If I had taken clones, I’d honestly throw out the ones from #3.
Speaking of clones, I’d definitely take some from #2. She seems to be the happiest and has the most moderate stretch. Lovely plants! The aroma is starting to spread, and I’m noticing hints of blueberry.
Today, I watered them but gave #3 less of my nutrient solution than the others. Hopefully, she’ll start ‘praying’ again next week!
This week, I reached the maximum strength of the nutrient solution. Now that the buds are developing more and more, I can clearly see that #1 is leaning heavily towards a sativa growth pattern, while #2 follows a more indica-like structure.
#3, on the other hand, is barely drinking at all—her pot stays heavy all the time. I haven’t watered her for a week, but nothing really changes. If I had to choose a plant to keep as a mother, it would definitely be #2—she seems to be the happiest of the three. #3 was already problematic during the vegetative stage, so I probably should have culled her earlier. Very strange plant.
I just hope she’ll at least be ready when I harvest the other two. Still about three weeks to go from now!
This might be one of the easiest grows I’ve ever done. Not a single sign of deficiency at all! It’s getting stinkier every week, and the first brown pistils are starting to appear. I’d say they have about 3 to 4 weeks left.
When I open the tent, the smell hits me immediately—it’s like nuts and berries. Nice!
#3 is finally drinking again. After not watering her for a week, she seems to have used up all the excess water. Now she’s getting slightly less nutrient solution than the other two.
Day F57 with no signs of deficiency—awesome! I plan to harvest these plants on day 71, so just two more weeks to go.
At this point, not much can go wrong anymore. I can already say: This strain grows effortlessly!!
