dancingshrubbery Here we go again! This time around, to avoid the thrips from last, we are switching our the soil from BioBizz All mix to Plagron light mix.
We have also acquired a nice new 130watt LED lamp, spanking out a staggering 25000 lumen. I turned this down to half for the first week.
We are also trying out Big Plant Science's liquid fertilizer.

dancingshrubbery Grow is going fine. The nodes are growing really tight, and since there is no burn damage from the light, this seems to be the perfect conditions for lush growth!
Day 2 update: Watered with nutrients.

Day 4 update: Watered with nutrients.
Day 5 update: Mainlining Step 2. Plant topped at next node to create 4 main branches. They are tiny at the moment.

dancingshrubbery We have begun the first two stages of Mainlining and the plant now has 4 main branches. We would like to top them again this week to produce 4 more branches at a total of 8 main branches.
The stem is already very thick and strong.
Day 2 update: Watered with nutrients. Cut lower fan leaves.
Day 5 update: Watered with nutrients. Defoliated lower fan leaves.

dancingshrubbery Another week begins and we are left with a dense and healthy looking plant from Week 4. If you haven't yet, check the tie job on Day 5 from Week 4, as it sets the stage for what's going on in the later weeks. Barney's Farm Phantom OG grows dense and compact. We're having a slightly harder time training it in comparison to the LSD, as the branches do not reach out far enough to be pulled away from each other. But who can complain about a fat healthy plant?
We have finished all mainlining steps, as we are stopping at 8 main nodes.

dancingshrubbery We decided to flip the lights as the plant has become rather big for our tent. This is as we are expecting a stretch of 2 to 3 times the size of it's current height. We have noticed a slight nitrogen toxicity, some bigger fan leaves are wrinkled and very robust, so we are ditching Power House Part A for the first feeding on Day 2.
Day 2 update: Watered with nutrients.
Day 4 update: Still lacking behind LSD, but growing incredibly dense.

dancingshrubbery The plant has stretched but is very outgrown by it's neighbour, LSD.
We have noticed a mold like substance in Power House Part A, a long white string of material, which shouldn't be apparent in a soluble nutrient. Also, some leaves appear to have a very dark green colour, with a rough texture. It appears to be a nitrogen toxicity, which may indicate an overall imbalance in the nutrient feed. The plant overall is doing great, but as the water here contains a lot of calcium, we might cut back on Calcium Plus Part B, which also contains nitrogen.

dancingshrubbery This lamp, nutrient and main-lining combination is incredible!
We have been away for the week, so the pictures have been taken with the timelapse webcam, thus a little shoddy. Growth has been insane! We are once again skipping a bunch of Part B in the nutrient mix as our main water supply already contains a lot of calcium.

dancingshrubbery Another good week! It's just watering every other day from now, we hardly do any gardening. Some of the leaves below the canopy are having a hard time, but that is probably just the plant ditching them, everything else is healthy and green.

dancingshrubbery The plant is doing great and has a deep dark green colour in the leaves. It's neighbour has problems with a possible Nitrogen deficiency, however the Phantom OG has a darker leaf colour, and doesn't look affected as it's tall neighbour LSD.
Day 1 update: Watered with nutrients. (Without Part B).
Day 3 update: Watered. We decided to flush with (carefully) pH'd water, a little higher than usual, probably in the 6.5 to 7.0 range.

dancingshrubbery Phantom OG is doing really well. It has grown a lot more compact than it's yellowing neighbour LSD. Apparently it is also more resistant to the Nitrogen block that LSD seems to be suffering. The leaves have a healthy dark green and strong texture.

dancingshrubbery Flushing! It's time for pouring water into the little plants and nothing else. We cheated a bit, and started mid last week. The plants are looking very good, no sign of Nitrogen deficiency though.
Day 3 update: Watered
Day 6 update: Watered. Day before harvest.
Phantom OG grows fat and dense. It was very resistant, to an imbalance in the pH, and grew the fattest stem I have seen. Tiny tree! It was a bit hard to mainline, as it did not spread out that much, which hurt the yield in the end. However, the trichome production was off the charts, you can see it in the picture on the scale.

@Tgriff420, Just had a look at your diary, looks nice. Your weeks are a bit confusing though ^^
I'm considering mainlining, so I will also be topping quite a bit.
