Hi everyone, this diary that I am creating is mainly for the Floraflex 700W Full Spectrum LED Grow Light. I have around 30 years of growing experience and have grown thousands of strains over my career. But this grow is not about the strain. So I built a small little section in my warehouse which measures around 6'x10' with a strain that I breed 8 years ago and knows exactly what it likes and dont like. This journal is for the light as I have been searching high and low online for actual grow reviews of this light and came up empty handed. This light is the new(ish) Floraflex 700W Full Spectrum LED Grow Light. The only tests that have been done on this light are par tests, which most of us know, will never show the big picture of what a light can do.
The specs of this light are as follows:

These lights are priced at 374.99 american and 525 canadian, which I found to be a great deal considering that they tested well on a few channels that already had access and was able to test them. But there has been no actual grows with these lights, so here I am.
So, I skipped the boring parts for you aka clone / veg / transition. I started this diary purposely on day 19 since the 12/12 switch, which is where we are today. I already know these lights are on the heavy side of Blue, and I must say they are superb lights for vegging. BUT, I am wary with them for flowering. We shall see in this journal. I know Floraflex will not say what type of diodes they are using other than the fact that they are "custom diodes". They say that they have a comprehensive spectrum range of 3000K, 5000K, 660nm red, 730nm far red. So we shall see.
If anyone is interested in the strain that I will be testing these lights on, it is a strain that I breed around 8 years ago. I found a godly Granddaddy Purple pheno from Ken Estes GDP Genetics and I crossed it with the funkiest dankest cheese pheno that I found from the original big buddha family farms original cheese which was selected in a 1240 plant mega pheno hunt. Right now this strain which I named Cheese N Grapes is on a bx6 and blissful. So lets see if this light can make this plant as big and as beautiful as the lights we use in our main facility can. The ball is in your court Floraflex!
