Irie Genetics - Afterglow S1 fems. Started 7 seeds and went 7/7.
My first ever grow 🤩 DIY living soil mix (similar to Clackmas recipe).
Jan 3rd = Day 1 above soil
Here we are on Day 7. Gals seem happy. Started em in DIY living soil, so figured there’s plenty of nutrient in there already. Watered with tap water every couple days.
Pics from Day 21. Gals are cruising.
Started nutes in 3rd week. Mostly focusing on KNF style/lots of emphasis on microbes.
Liquid Feed:silica boost, em1, FPJ (purple deadnettle), compost tea
Topdress: Craftblend & bokashi.
Pics from Day 28.
Liquid feed: silica, fpj, em1, popcorn sprouted seed tea (SST).
Dry amendments: craft blend + azomite
Truckin along. Due to vacation schedule these will prob go 8 week veg.
Week 5 - transplanted to 3 gal pots.
Probably going to go 8 week veg. Starting to do some light defoliation to get more light to lower branches. Doing some LST as well to widen em out a bit.
Dry amendments: craft blend, worm castings, compost, dolomite lime, bokashi
Wet: FPJ, em1, compost tea
2/14 - day 42 - end of week 6
Gals are happy. Probably going to go 8 week veg before I flip due to vacation schedule. That’ll also allow the plants to get bigger so I can pull clones before flip.
Having fun training them w clips and spreading em out some.
Watering ~1.35L every 3rd day or so.
Dry amendments: dolomite lime, worm castings
Wet: silica, FPJ, FFJ, compost tea
2/21/25 - Day 49 - End of Week 7
Gals were bushing out like crazy so I did a pretty heavy defoliation to trim a lot of the stuff under canopy.
Transplanting them to 10 gal pots tomorrow, then giving them a week to settle in before flipping to flower.
Decided to only keep best 4 when I move to the 4x4 so it doesn’t get too crowded. Giving a friend the other 3 that are getting culled.
Wet amendments: silica, compost tea, FFJ, FPJ
Dry amendments: bokashi
2/28/25 - Day 56
Just finished up week 8. Culled 3 of the plants (gave to a friend) so the 4x4 flower tent will be 4x 10 gallon pots.
I realized I only had half the amount of dirt I needed for the up-pot, so I mixed some up. As I began to transfer the first plant, I realized the fresh soil was pretty warm to the touch 😅.
I mixed up DIY clackamas mix, but I think the Craft Blend stuff runs hot…
After I transferred the first one, I decided to hold off on the other 3 to give the soil time to cool off. 4 days after transfer, AG#3 is still looking sad and droopy..
Separately, I laid out my vacation/travel schedule. Decided on 10 week veg instead of 8 week to allow me to be fully present during the entire harvest/dry/cure window. Only downside w that is these plants might get huge…
3/7/25 - Day 63
Got em all transplanted to 10 gallon pots. The diy Clackmas soil recipe was a little hot. Ag3 got nuked pretty good bc I transplanted straight into it. We’ll see how stunted it is later. Seems to have bounced back after 5-6 days of looking sad.
The remaining 3, I waited 5 more days to transplant. They still looked a lil droopy for a day or two. But now, they have all bounced back and are looking happy!
Decided to go for 10 week veg bc my vacation schedule. That will allow me to be fully present for the harvest window as well as dry/cure.
Been having hella good time training the plants w LST clips.
Wet amendments: compost tea, fpj, ffj, silica
Dry amendments: bokashi
