Leaves are “praying”. Moved canfan to point at fabric pot and plant is looking much happier. Growing horizontally with 8-10 pre-flower sites

Plant is starting to form small budding sites. Even when watered, plant is turgid and very healthy looking.

Plant is stretching. Bud sites stacking. White hairs in clusters at top of budding sites. Looks very healthy. Runoff PPM’s are VERY HIGH - 4000ppm! Flushed twice with regular filtered water, runoff is down to 2000ppm. Plants look great with no signs of salt buildup. 5-Gallon fabric pots are likely “stacking” notes in the soil.

once it switches to flower the plant can double in size, if its not that big to begin with then it won't get crazy big. Autos a a crap shoot, sometimes they work good, other times they don't. not the same as photos and better off just growing photos and controlling the flip to flower. Can also grow photos from 12/12 and they act like an auto but gives you the flexibility to veg em out if you need to. Some plants don't develop good roots structure and stay squat. and autos roots are sensitive. if they hit dry soil they think its the edge. if it to wet they rot, root stress can cause early flowering and stunted growth. Next time try photos

Take no notice of some people on here claiming plants don't need nothing more than basic nutrition and defoliation doesn't help.Claiming the plant has put most of its weight on at before wk5 has started is stupid. They've been giving tomatoes and peppers pk boosters for decades.Yours doesnt really need defoliating though. Its looks very sativa like with those skinny leaves so you're getting plenty of light through the canopy. Some breeders like 420 fast buds often recommned defoliation with their leafy plants.

Depending on the strain she can stretch for up to 3wks into flower, most are more like 2wks.Good breeders will have the info on what to expect.I'd expect anything from 10-30cm.8wk flowering plants will put most of theor weight on during wk5 no matter what anyone else on here says. She will use a lot more p and k during the first 2wks then again 3wks before harvest for 5 days which is why the best boosters are given from wks 4-6 to catch that 5 day window.Whatch the high dose pk like shooting powder which is something like 40-30 and way too high and affects taste Most are 9-18 but ones that have been created for our plants are more like 3-1.I use advanced nutrients big bud which is 3-1.I also use guano for P and ash for K.The microbes feed the plannt what they want and ask for where the mineral products are taken directly up by the plant which often affects the taste of the plant as the salts affect the brix content.Oraganics create a better product.

Viel erfolg

This is a hobby grow, on a windowsill with led supplemental light, no tent, and by no means optimally tuned for growing. That being said, it’s fun and it’s working. I haven’t done a grow in 7 years, so I’m back to making mistakes; this one I literally decapitated after fming, delaying growth for about 2 weeks. I’m only watering about 1.5 litres of 6.1PH water @ 900-1100ppms, as the soil remains moist for days. Plant shows little growth vertically but I’d turgid and upright, never drooping - ever. I think my watering technique could be improved by watering very slowly over the course of 12 hours, instead of a slow 10-minute dump. My other girls are in DWC, and are about 1 week behind this one, but are taking-off with explosive foliage and vertical growth, with bud sites beginning to stack. This is my first time using Fabric Pots, and I’m familiar with DWC, so any pros want to be nice and give me tips that would be great. P.s. I know my fan distance isn’t perfect and my environment isn’t a garden - it’s my windowsill, so keep that in mind when being critical. I’m just having fun, not trying to show off.

Not drinking much - used to smaller pots needing more water. Have stunted root development by overwatering. Not going to water until pot is lighter and I’m sure the bottom isn’t compacting. Added some perlite to help dry things up a bit. Raised lights a bit and took away fan, seems to be happier. We’ll see. I anticipate more growth later half of this week. Let pot dry out nicely; watered on Wednesday March 5 (2025). Started watering at 10AM, 2 hours after lights on, and watered 500ml/hour, slowly throughout the day. Runoff started after about 5 litres, with a high Ppm count (/300). Flushing with a bit more straight dechlorinated water, to get the runoff ppm‘s down. Runoff is about 5% at 7:30PM
