Started germination on Wednesday. Today, after only 2 days, the plants showed. Placed them with JIFFY in my 250l living soil bed.

Just left the plants alone most of the time, only adding some water at sunrise.

Watered the bed in the morning and evening with approx. 0.5 l of water to prevent the surface from drying out. Soil life looks good. Lots of springtails, worms can be found every few square centimeters directly under the mulch layer. Zero fertilizer till now (will stay this way for the whole grow)

Just gave about 5 litres of pure water. Had some fun watching the different species of my beneficial insects. Other than that, just had to do some lawn mowing because the cover crop frenzied :)

Last week again only around 5 liters of water for the entire bed every 2-3 days. Tensiometer consistently shows 80-100mBar suction tension. Plants have a beautiful canopy of leaves and have become very bushy. The growth phase will now continue for another week and then flowering will begin. Preparation for the flowering phase by adding Soft Rock Phosphate (needs a few days in Living Soil until it is available to the plant).

Added some phosphate and fermented fruit juice because of flowering. Otherwise, they received about 13 litres of water per plant this week, or about 40 litres for the entire bed in a week. The soil is nicely moist (about 100 mBar suction tension). All plants look good. Still no signs of deficiency symptoms, only a little light stress apparently. Therefore, I followed a good piece of advice and raised the lamp a little higher. 🙂 What I wouldn't do again is put three plants in a bed, it's a bit cramped overall.

The week was again very uneventful. A total of approx. 25 litres of water poured. No fertiliser or anything similar. Only applied approx. 7cm (2.5”) of hemp mulch today. Next week we will be lollipopping. I'm curious....

Very uneventful again this week. About 50 litres of water for the entire bed within 7 days. As always, no fertiliser. The plants are developing splendidly as usual. The first colour changes towards purple are visible. I haven't done any lollipopping, which will be done next week (21st day of flowering).
