Spliffseeds AK! Come check it out.

So I'm back! For my third grow I'm growing the AK auto from spliff seeds. I heard this is a long flowering auto so I'm pretty stoked. First week went great. She is growing pretty fast and she is looking happy. I prepared the soil with some Easy Boost from RQS that I had left. The first week though I only gave her water. So thats kinda it for this week. Next week I will start adding some vegetation nutes. Happy growing!

This update is made on day 21. Shes doing great. Growing fast and lots of new branches are growing between the nodes. From now on I will give her a bit of veg booster. I also started with the LST, bending her over so the little branches between the nodes will get more light. Looking forward to next week!

DAY 28: She is booming! I'm really surprised with how quick she is growing. As you see, the training helped with giving other budsites more light to stretch. You can see three sites now when looking from above, wich will yield better then a christmas type form. Also, the stress from the beding results in the plant putting more energie in the width in stead of hight. However, I had to start earlier with the bending so there would be even more sites coming up. There are still 2 under the upper layer of leaves. I'm very happy with how shes growing though and the veg booster really is helping with that. I also saw some trichomes showing up, probably to show her sex. This week probably flower will start, so I will add some extra fluorescent lights. Thanks for reading and happy growing!

DAY 35 So I came home after a week and I saw that the strings to hold the plant in place fell of. This kinda sucked because the plant was starting to grow vertical again. As you see on the fifth foto, by beding the plant we made room for the side branches to grow all the way up. They are on the same level as the main koala now. With the training the plant would've had a christmas type structure which doenst yield that much. So the training went great, altough due the loosing of the strings, the main koala wasnt held horizontal anymore so it kinda started to strech again, which you dont want. I decided to put what could be a lot of stress to the plant by bending the main koala in flower, something you normally dont really do. I'm feeling though that the plant wants to stretch more and she will bounce back. By doing this again more side branches of the main koala will be penetrated by more light and you will see the extra bud sites formed next week. As for nutrients. I'm starting to give het the Bloom Booster from RQS. I used 1,2 grams for a liter water and i give them 50/50 of water and the mixture. Thanks for reading and happy growing!

DAY 43 She is doing great! As you see the training really worked out. I will post a picture where I will draw the stem so you can see what really happened if you dont see it right away. Basiclly the stem is bend and you see that the main cola is moved all the way on the edge of the plant. All the budsites beneath got extrea light this way and got the chance to grew much bigger. Because the little problem in week 5 the main cola grew a little to tall. This kinda sucks because I can't lower the lamps more. I also am removing all popcornbuds beneath the main buds. They will nog grow big anyway because there is not much light penetration on the lower side of the branches. Furthermore I'm really impressed with the disease resistance. I don't know if I'm giving a to smal amount of nutes because I haven't had any defficiencies so far. Thanks for reading and happy growing!

DAY 49: Time for some dank pictures! This week I realised that this will be my best, most yielding grow to date. She is growing like a mf and she is really loving the extra fluorescent lights and the extra led lights. I made that tent bright as fuck and it kinda hurts my eyes looking at her lol. She is putting on lot's of weights and I kept feeding her (RQS Bloom Booster) more and more and she kept loving it too. The day of posting this the tops started to burn a little, so I have to calm down a little from now. I'm so stoked to smoke her flower, she is going to be so frosty! DAY 57: TROUBLE IN PARADISE :( Dear reader, please help! So the yellowing keeps on going. First I tought it could be light burn because it started with the leaf which had been exposed to intens light most of his "life". Now also relative new ones start to yellow. I had problems with nitrogin deficiency before but normally the leaves yellow much faster and not in the kind of way these does. I could be wrong tho? I was thinking of a lack of magnesium but I've been watering her with water with ph 6 and magnesium (2 mg/l). I don't know whats going on :( Please someone help! Thanks for reading.

DAY 63: COLORS :o She is doing amazing. The buds are swelling up and the colors are just amazing, look at her! About the yellowing leaves, I dont really know who was right. I gave her some extra nutes and it kinda stopped. However, I think she just decided she doesnt need the leaves anymore since it's nearly harvest time? I dont really know... My guess it she will figure it out tho :) I'm so excited to harvest her. This is the most beautifull and well trained plant from the last three i had. You can really see I'm improving. The training made a lot of side branches get more light and look at the quality buds forming now. Awesome! Thanks for all the help and happy growing! PS: Them pictures tho :D

DAY 70: BIG BUDS Still doing great! I gave her her first flush, let 12 liters of water run trough the soil. She will have to use the nutes still stored inside. By doing this the smoke will become less harsh. About the smoke and the odor. She doesnt smell that hard like my previous plants. I read that the cause could be the lack of Kalium or Magnesium... When smelling them directly though the aroma is great, my grow room itself just doenst really smell. Maybe something for the next 2 weeks? I'm planning letting her finish for 2 more weeks. DAY 77: LAST WEEK :D So because it is probably the last week i got some BEAUTIFUL pictures! I made some pictures with white lights, with flash and with the flower lights on. The results are just... DAMN! She is doing great and as planned. She is using all her nutes and het leaves are fading out. I might have started the proces to soon because not all the trichomes have turned brown so she will probably be more sativa. Im so proud of myself, I'm really impressed how big and beautiful she turned out. What do you guys think?

What a journey! Let's start to say that this must have been my most succesful grow to date. She looked gorgeous and yielding a whopping 50 gram, succesfully beating my previous plants. In late flower she had a lack of magnesium (?) or whas she just getting ready for harvest (?), we don't know. This however didnt stop me harvesting some beautiful sticky buds! Look at the pictures :o. The genetics were great. The Spliffseeds seem to have great plants. If I have to compare to RQS, I cant really say whats best or worse, imo every plant is unique. However I have a feeling RQS is more genetically made, which produceses les leaves and more flower. The plant I had now seemed more natural, it had more sugarleaves all over the plant, made it more work to trim... but it was cleary worth it! Thanks to everyone who followed along.
