Lemon Wonder Automatic Windowsill

Floxruler Quick Note: I am counting the days from the start of germination. I've seen other people start counting days from sprouting. The seed sprouted on day 4, so if you want to compare it with other grows, just substract 4 days. I again was away on the weekend and left the 5 W 2700 K desk lamp running over the weekend (without a timer). When I came back on day 13, I changed out the desk lamp to an old 11W LED 4500K 850 lm aquarium lamp. It set the distance in a way, that the plant gets 50000 lux. It's been growing way quicker since changing the light. I believe that's because the 4500 K is better suited for the vefetative phase. When I am at home I leave the lamp running while I am awake since I am growing in a dorm room. The aquarium lamp really isn't optimal, since it spreads the light out. But since I don't need that much bud because I don't smoke a lot, it isn't really worth it to invest in a proper grow light.

Floxruler I started doing LST very early, because I am going to be away for some days next week. I damaged some leaves but they didn't die off.

Floxruler I kept on doing the LST. This strain stays very compact so it was kinda annyoing to get light to the side branches.

Floxruler Start of flower! I was away from day 25 to day 33. I added an IKEA clay watering thing which didn't work at all. Over the entire span, it only watered 100 ml. The plant dried out and also grew into the light. I had to remove some leaves and some bud sights were squished. When rearanging furniture I accidentally droped a painting on it, which broke off a leave with a bud sight. Overall lots of mistakes but after watering and moving the light she has recovered beautifully.

Floxruler I watered a little more than usual and really noticed the plant getting more thirsty. The buds are starting to develop and sites are popping out all over the place. I did a light defoliation so that all bud sights get decent lighting. I bent some stems lightly using metal wire to increase light . My room is starting to smell a little, but with the window opened a bit, the smell doesn't leave my room. One leave showed signs of light stress, since that branch grew into the light when I was away for the weekend. In general the plant seems to have recovered amazingly from all the crap I put it through the week before.

Floxruler I watered teice with 0,75l. I cut away 5 dying leaves in the lower part of the plant. Otherwise this week has been smooth sailing. The sun came out frequently and the buds are starting to fatten. Right now they smell slightly chocolate like, really interested to see whether they will take on more of a lemon smell later on.
