got seeds copule of months ago but now decided I will give this strain a shot. germinated in paper towel method but I used those cosmetic patch used for makeup removal.
I let whole package (5PCs) to germinate, but only 4 got sprouted. That was my ain to have 4, one extra was "just in case"
Had to transplant seedling due to the fact that I added worm castings to the mix which raised ph and stunned plants. After transplant to coco perlite 70/30 they took off after initial stunt.
I keep them 12h in my flower tent and another 10h under big CFL in seprate tent
they're under between 220-300 PPFD
Looking good :)
These ladies have really took off, I've noticed some calcium issues so now I water twice a day. Once with canna nutrients and once with calcium acetate and epsom salt dissolved in tap water (dechlorinated). This week I've been adding some amino acids to the water I used for my flowering plants and did not hesitate to scoop some and give to the yungins as well :)
Nutes - I try to stick to canna schedule
I also changed CFL bulb for 400W MetalHalide bulb since I had to run extra heater 500W heater along with CFL that came together to almost 600W. Now that MH bulb gives me more light as well as heat I got rid of heater.
They are still kept for 12h in flowering tent (I raised them closer to the lights to get that min 400 PPFD) and 9-10 extra hours in veg tent under that MH light.
I also plan to feed them some orthosilic acid (bio-availble silica) some time next week, will keep you posted
My my first time in coco but I think that I might not come back to living soil no more, let's see where it'll go :D
