It has been busy week and I have not been able to update the diary when I would like to. At least I can now. The plants are still doing well. They are clearly doing better than my first grow. The extra water and nutes combined with heavier defoliation is making a difference. I'm looking forward to see what I can get out of these. Watered twice this week: 1 gallon per plant with 5 mL cal mag/gallon and 6 mL grow big/ gallon (530 ppm, 6.23 pH) 1 gallon per plant with 5 mL cal mag/gallon and 7 mL grow big/ gallon (561 ppm, 6.26 pH) Pistils started to appear at the beginning of this week. I'm taking it easy on the LST now. Just trying to keep the canopy even. Moved the Orange Diesels to the 5' x 5' with the quantum board. Hoping they will stretch well under this one.

@@Fingers, Howdy. Sorry for a delayed response. It has been busy around here lately. I measured what was there which had been sitting around. It was 761 ppm and 5.68 pH. Measuring after the next watering was @ 1k ppm and 5.46 pH. I may go ahead and flush next time. They are looking good and I am not seeing signs of any problem, but it would be good to avoid any issues. Would you flush with just plain pH'd water until runoff is back to what is going in?

@@Fingers, Thanks! It's good to hear the ppm is good. I dropped my meter into the water bucket a couple of waterings ago and it did not respond well. It isn't working now. So I couldn't measure the run off from the flush I gave them last night. I gave them a couple of gallons of 6.2 pH water and it brought the run off up to 5.8. I'll try to work it up a bit more if I can. Thanks for the heads up!

@OKgrows, your ppm is good but your pH is creeping towards lockout. I try to keep it between 5.8-6.2. But she is looking great!

@@Fingers, Howdy. Will be breaking in the veg tent with this grow. It is a 3'x3' with 4" exhaust fan and filter. Currently using an actual 265w (1200w) blurple, which will be the first upgrade. Have a couple of 6" clip-on fans blowing now, but have other fans to use when needed. They are growing in 3 gal equivalent air pots in Pro-Mix HP. Have Fox Farm nutrients which will be used more liberally this time around. I'm just over a week in, and I'm pleasantly surprised with how stable the tent has been. I was concerned about big swings in RH or temps, but it has stayed in basically an ideal setting and there is room to lower the humidity along the way. With the about daily tweaking of the 5'x5' tent during my first grow, I'm relieved with how things have gone so far with this one. Keeping my fingers crossed. Thanks for checking it out.
