1 - (03/14) Starting my new seeds, my other order for the Barney's never came in the mail. Must be "lost"... Decided to go get something semi locally. Picked up 2 strains and got the free Early Miss as well. Germination has started as of 03/13, paper towel transfer at 03/14 (approximately 16 hours later). Tent is sanitized and the new LED I'll be running is almost here. (Decided to wait on the full spectrum) Following guidelines as per Crop Kings recommendation for germination. We'll see in the next 48 how well they have developed under the paper towel. This plant will be grown alongside the Early Miss and the Candy Cane Auto as well. The CC and EM will have separate diaries, so be sure to check those out as well! This grown will be done in the Indo 4*2*5 tent. Thank you to everyone that chimed in on my last failed grows, I look forward to some success after the excellent suggestions I received from everybody. Super excited! Happy growing!
2 - 03/17 - 72 Hours later, forgot to get in the tent and remoisten the paper towels last night, just got up at 4am and they were pretty dry. Tap root looks to have lost some moisture, I'm just hoping I didn't already fuck them up this time. Shouldn't have drank so much on my 30th. Happy Saint Patrick's day to y'all! Hopefully they suck up some water and bounce back by midday. Going to put them in jiffys or rock cubes tomorrow.
3 - 03/18 - The GSC seedling picked right back up came out with a strong tap root. She was planted in a jiffy then into a quarter gallon container filled with my medium of choice. Currently for my veg I'm running a Mo Koko medium with; gia green organics 4-4-4, 40% worm castings and roughly 60% perlite. This particular plant will be grown via only organic amendments using the gia green 4-4-4 all purpose and the 2-8-4 power bloom. After transfer, they have all been watered once and will sit until they are ready. I'm assuming I'll be starting out with every second day water schedules for now. This GSC will be transplanted a few times throughout the grow ending in a 5g pot. I will be top dressing at different stages and stopping in around week 5 of flower. Cheers for now! 🌱
5 - 03/19 - All the girls are popping up out of the soil and should shed the seedling casings within 24hrs. Off to a much better start! The GSC is in a league of it's own. Super excited for this girl, she's just so happy all the time. Might be time to keep some Marley on in the room. Good vibes. 😃 Ended my day by them officially being in Veg Day 1.
6 - 03/20 - Well it's officially day 2 of week 1 in Veg and as of this morning all 3 girls look great. Off to a much better start, feeling much more confident in this grow. The GSC is the only plant I plan to be dosing nutrients on. Running a brand new system by Indo Products. I'll post an update of the nutrients used later this week. We've had such great weather these last 2 days, the GSC has joined me in the sun for a few hours. 🌱😃
7 - 03/23 - Made some adjustments to the diary, measured the girls and corrected my Veg days. Moving forward, I'll do week to week updates on the girls and daily pictures of growth progress.
8 - 03/26 - Day 7 for all the girls. CC is definitely on the weakest link list. The EM has shocked me entirely. GSC is progressing as I figured she should. Today I am finally going to scoop my new light. So stoked 🙌 Girls get to go into week 2 with a heavy adjustment on their total wattage. I'll update later this evening with a photo update and video of the new light and the girls. Thanks for following, don't forget to hit the like! Cheers 🌱
1 - 03/27 - Starting up week #2. New light is installed, will be monitoring the set up now since the new light is 800w. Tent temperature peaked yesterday at 85. Added a big fan in the tent and an additional fan for circulation outside of the tent as well. Going to need my air scrubber sooner than later to help keep my temps in check. Likely need a cool mist humidifier as well now. Woohoo. At least they are all still standing!
2 - 03/27 - The new LED at 800 watts is far too much. The tent was heating up uncontrollably past 86, so I decided to take it back and grab the single 400 for the time being. That way at a later date I can upgrade to a secondary 400 and still pull equal wattage. Also added a 6in inline fan to help keep the tent cooler. Sitting around 76 -80 now so I'm pretty happy with it. The 400 run quite a bit cooler than the 800 does. The 800 brought my tent up another 10 degrees whereas the 400 unit sits my tent up at 3 degrees. All in all, feeling good about the swap and new lights. Time will tell if I need anything additional come first week of flower
03 - 03/31 - Almost nearing the end of week 2. The girls are doing amazing. Candy Cane is finally catching up and everybody is filling out now. Super cool to see what a week does! 🌱
Each of the ladies received some very light LST last night. Light pull on the leaves downwards to pull the top open and create some more developmental growth. I also decided to run a really light liquid nutrient cycle. I'll post the product and details tonight. Happy growing! 🌱
1 - 04-03 - Week 3, Day 1! I'll do a decent update on all the diaries tonight. Happy growing! 🌱
-Tonight- Update; Did some LST across the board. Various amounts of training for each of them, dependent on their individual growth and development needs. (Honestly just going for it lol) The GSC was topped tonight as well. Anyways, no water for them for the last 48 hours. They'll likely get a nutrient drink tomorrow night. Still a bit oversaturated... Still looking good, excited for another week of development from these girls. 🌱👍
The 2 autos in my tent jumped into flower. The GSC will continue to hang out in 18-6 while they finish up. 👍🌱 I'll continue to give her the LST and leaf tucks as needed. 💪
She's a bit of a small one I think. On to week 5, I'll continue to do LST and selective defoliation when needed. She was also top fed the Gaia Green Organics 4-4-4.
Probably got at least another 6 in her before I think about flipping her. We'll see what I think about her clones. ✂️🌱👍
Will be doing dailies on her from here on out. 💪👊
The GSC is starting to get some legs. I'm going to keep her in veg for as long as I can. Ideally I'd like to wait another 5-7 weeks before I turn her. That way I can pull both my CKS and flower this one at the same time as my other autos. Which should bring me full circle for a reset. 💪🌱👍
🚂🚂🚂🚂🚂🚂🚂 keeeeeep on truckin'
Took some clones from her, we'll see how well they root. I'd like to run her for a few more weeks so I can crop the remaining 2 autos around the same time. 👍🤞
Thinking she might get the flip around week 11. We'll see. 👍
VW8D7 - Cleaned her underside quite thoroughly last night. She's looking good. Always bounces back 🌱 She looks like she might have been missed on her top dressing by a day or 2 again. Some slight discoloration in new growth. 👍👊
She's going to get the flip in about 2-3 weeks time. I'll be flipping her and the Barney's Liberty Haze at the same time. Interested to see how she's going to produce in the end. I imagine she's going to be a tall one. Hopefully she fits in the tent. Lol
She's at week 10. Absolutely nuts 😜 She decided to pack it on pretty heavily in the last 2 weeks and has stretched beyond expectations. She's had every type of training done to her. I literally HST all the tops yesterday and now they are all healed and standing strong again this morning. Some fantastic bounce back off this girl when she recovers! 🌱🙌👊
She's at week 11. She continues to pack it on pretty heavily and has not stopped stretching. She's had another go of HST to a few of the tops and a decent final defoliation prior to the flip. She's likely on her final week before I pull the trigger on the 12/12! 🌱🙌👊
Another decent defoliation at day 2. 🌱✂️🌱✂️🤪
Flipped them last night. We'll see how long before she preflowers, but I decided to jump the dairy over to flower for sake of record keeping. 👍🌱
Officially hit flower 🙌
Sun West Genetics Girl Scout Cookies, continues to stack up and progress well. She's a long run sativa dominant that I plan to ripen up to a heavy amber finish. 💪🌱🙌👊
Just finished up the first week of flower and ran into a slight deficiency in zinc. Top dressed with a dose of 2-8-4 from Gaia Green Organics and have a tea getting prepared for a natural organic dose of nitrogen and zinc. 👍
Moving into week 3, she's recovering well from the defoliation but still stressing over the lack of available zinc. I'm assuming her uptake is slightly different being that she's an older sativa. Anyways, I'll keep her fed and try and remedy her issues sooner than later. ✔️🌱💪🙌
Onto week 4 of flower for Sunwest Genetics GSC.
She's still having an uptake issue, whether or not it's a lockout and she's refusing to intake the dry amendment feeds or just a lack of zinc. I assumed for a zinc deficiency but she's still locking up pretty hard. I'll be flushing her out lots in the next 2 weeks before I do another big defoliation to help establish some new healthy growth for her remaining weeks flower.
Took out the trellis for now. She's not deficient, she's root bound 🤦♂️🏻. Going to upsize her to a 7g to finish out flower before the weeks up. Hopefully that'll help her clear up the issues by the time she's ready for her defoliation. 👍🌱✔️
She's been upsized into a 25L air pot.
