Ratle Skywalker isthe favorite out of the previous 3 strains. Indica seems to work best for his medical issues. I'm going to start introducing fertilizer around the 3rd weekish as per Fox Farms suggestions. Just to mention, for those who grow in a small tent like I do, I've had success at using an AC Infinity heat mat (20 x 20) and a one gallon humidifier to keep the environment under control. My setup is not very fancy or expensive yet keeps us in supply.

Ratle It's the end of week two above soil and I started feeding today at 1/4 recommended amount as I usually do in my grows. I'm not a novice, been growing for 10 years but every grow has it's challenges and I'm still working on finding the best success with the least amount of issues. My last two grows I used Roots Organic original to test a different soil. In my view I had a better grow experience except the second bag was infested with gnats. Prior soil I used Ocean Forest, not sure if issues were with soil, I attribute most to lack of knowledge. This grow I'm using Happy Frog and so far everything looks like all my other grows, well, my very first few left something to be desired and didn't produce anything smokable.

Ratle This is actually the start of week 2 of veg. The diary should have a seedling stage. Started LST at the end of last week. I also turned on the side lights 3 days ago. I haven't turned them on this early before and want to see if it helps the lower branches get up to speed with the tops. I topped the Skywalker today. I put gnat traps in as a precaution, noticed one flying around. Don't think it was a fungus gnat since it was hanging around the light and it's the only one on either trap.

Ratle Did a very slight defoliation. She responded in two days to topping. Started training lower branches as well.

Ratle I did a good defoliation at the beginning of the week. Were off to the races now since the auto growing with her started to go into flower. Switched light schedule yesterday to coincide.

Ratle This is actually 9 days into flower. She's starting to catch up to her neighbor in height. Topping did well to get her to grow horizontal not requiring as much LST to keep all the tops close in height. No signs of pistils but she can't wait for day 21 of flower to get a good prune and defoliation. I'm still learning the proper amount on the defoliation before flower but she has airflow, just having to tuck some leaves daily.

Ratle Keeping on top of her stretch and opening up those colas. The one picture is of both plants, my tent is only 32" wide so I'll have to stop LST, their overlapping each other now at 24" wide each. Soil is testing on the high side so I lowered her PH feeding and will do that again next water and retest soil. Neither plant is showing any signs of trouble but they still have a long way to go. I don't like how full she is, seeing as how I won't be defoliating and pruning her for another week. I'm tucking, tucking, tucking and taking a couple fan leaves here and there until the time comes. I've also lowered the light several inches over the past week and seen them praying a little bit as a result. Good thing, their loving that light.

Ratle Did a good pruning and defoliation along with the sledgehammer for a watering this week.. Stretch is done as the whole plant is rigid now. I'm looking forward to see the growth directed at the bud sites and keeping her healthy. She ended up being a little over twice her height at start of flowering, that's counting for the bends in her branches from LST. She's still too dense, her small leaves really shot out after defoliation. Air circulation is good and I've found the side lights to be beneficial in penetrating the lower part of the plant.

Ratle With the end of the 8th week she has started to out pace her neighbor in bud development. Not yet halfway through flower, her stacking is better from the first time I grew this strain. I grew it alone that time but didn't do as much training with her. It will be interesting to compare the harvest weight since she's sharing the tent this time Did her final major defoliation and she's sticky as hell, trichomes everywhere. I remember her first grow, even the big fan leaves were covered and made some potent cannabutter. The trim picture is from both plants but mainly from her, the auto next to her didn't need much.

Ratle Well she is showing her tolerance to the light like the last time I grew this strain. I've had a couple leaves at the top with signs oh stress with a few spots. I'm still learning the art of diagnosing but this is definitely a light height of even fan issue. Her neighbor is under all the same regiment and is loving the conditions with no signs of stress what so ever. Were not even halfway through flower so I'm taking the side of caution and raised the light and fans. She took 12 weeks in flower last time I grew this strain and her buds are starting to take off already.
