KanOrganics Fantasy Feast

KanOrganics It was very lanky in the starter cup, so I used a little trick I learned a while ago. When transplanting it, I planted it horizontally instead of vertically, covering most of the stem. KanOrganics We topped her a couple days ago, right before moving it into the flower tent. If you haven't noticed, I started 3 seeds and said that I'd keep one of them. Well, I wasn't happy with the other two's morphology, so we kept this one hoping it is female. Today I found out it is though, so good to go. KanOrganics This one is pretty much done with its stretch. It seems to be blooming quicker than most of my other plants. We already have some nice hedgehogs. Unfortunately, it's also the only plant I have in a 3-gallon pot, so it's not as big as it could be. But it's still the biggest plant I have in my garden out of 15. Not much of a smell yet, but seems to be progressing nicely. I gave it a big lollipop defoliation a couple days ago, mostly because I need extra airflow in my crowded flower tent, but also because I don't want to miss any potential male flowers popping up early flower, like is typical for some F1 strains. KanOrganics It's been a while since I've grown such a healthy plant with just plain water. Maybe I should make more of my own genetics? 😁 Seriously, this plant has been happy as can be, and her whole life she got fed tap water and nothing more. Let's see if she can keep up the beautiful foliage and inflorescence for the next half of bloom. Another thing I love about this plant is she has a perfectly even canopy with no training. KanOrganics I didn't do anything to her this week except water her a couple times with tap water. She seems to be developing slowly. This is probably going to be a 70-80 day bloom. I included a picture of 'mini me', the same strain grown under 12/12 from seed in a tiny 1L pot, and started flowering a week before the big one, and still not ready. KanOrganics I didn't do anything to her this week except add some tap water, and rearranged her in the tent to make room for another big plant. Still looks far from finished after 8 weeks in bloom. KanOrganics I didn't do anything to her this week except give her 0.5gal of tap water twice. It looks like her buds are fattening up, with more and more stigmas turning orange. I still think we're looking at 2-3 more weeks of bloom, but I could be wrong. This is the longest indoor flower time I've dealt with, and I've never seen buds develop so slowly, so it's just a guess. We'll see. This grow couldn't be done sooner. I could sure use the tent space...

KanOrganics Well, this is actually about 9 weeks of bloom instead of 10. I went back and changed week 5 to veg, because I made a mistake and marked it as flower since the end of that week she was put into the flower tent. I took some (bad) photos of the trichomes, and I'm seeing mostly clear with some that are cloudy. This coincides with what I planned to be about 11 weeks of bloom, so 2, maybe 3 more weeks until she is ready for the chop.

KanOrganics She seems to be slowing down. I give her 1, maybe 2 more weeks.

KanOrganics 11 weeks of bloom, whew! I think she has at least 1 or 2 more. The trichomes just ain't talking to me yet.

KanOrganics I chopped her down after exactly 12 weeks of flowering. She smells like cherry cheesecake and red wine, an interesting profile. We'll hang the full plant for 1-2 weeks before trimming. I'm very impressed with my own genetics here. It's been a long time since I've grown something that had such an overpowering smell. I'm also impressed at the structure, with a perfectly even canopy without any training. Overall, a great grow, and I have plenty of more seeds available still if you send me a message 😁
