First Outdoor Run 2025 - Honey Peach CBD | Auto Girl Scout Cookies | Wedding Cheesecake Auto
This year I am starting with a slight change to my germination process.
Researched the effect of H2O2 on germination rates and decided to go with a 1% mixture in a shot glass.
The shot glases are darkened with aluminium foil and put on a heat mat.
Also decided to repot the plants later on instead of putting the seed into the final pot. The mixture for that will be Floragard Growmix combined with Plant Booom Chicken Shit Living Soil and horn shavings + mycorrhiza .
After germination, I will add Plant Booom mycorrhiza to the first pot and put the seeds 1-2 cm deep into the soil.
Fertilizer will be Weedness Hesi Bio Grow and Weedness Hesi Bio Bloom. Will also use PlantBooom SiCaMag and Cane sugar molasses later on.
Step 1: Put the seeds in a mixture of 1% H2O2 (mixing on part of 3% H2O2 with two parts of tab water).
Step 2: After 12 hours checking the state of the seeds. If they sink, they get transfered to the prepared planting pot with a mixture of Floragard Professional Grow Mix and Coconut Planting Soil.
After 9 days, I had to check 2 seeds. Unfortunately they didn't grow in the earth and gave no signs to do that later on. So I had to pick 2 new seeds. They are now 1 week behind and I wait for them to germinate.
But the honey peach just did well and looks healthy.
I will use the same earth, as I don't think it was the error. Only factor that may have killed them: to wet earth.
Update 17.04.2025
Both seeds came out of the soil in 2 days and are happy. One has stretched a lot, even though it got the same light setup. Filled it up with my soil mixture, to compensate for the stretch.
Decided to repot the Honey Peach Auto CBD yesterday into a 1L fabric pot to give her slightly more space for her roots.
One little error: Tried to increase air humidity to 70%+ to increase VPD with a green house, but temps got over 30°C. My Honey Peach didn't like it and has now some minor heat burns on the edges. Also removed the heat matt, as temps were a bit to high (over 26°C).
Checked temps this morning and they are slightly under 26°C. But I can't increase humidity (45%-60%) in the air as this is just pre-breeding before getting them out into the sun (and I have no tent^^). Waiting for better and constant weather conditions in may.
