For this grow I started off in a Solo Cup. I wasn't paying attention to the details and accidentally overwatered her. I thought she was going to die. I potted her up to a slightly bigger pot with dry dirt and that did the trick. She made a FANTASTIC recovery. I topped her at the 4th node and waited for the 2 new nodes to generate. Once they were good to go I defoliated all of the lower growth except for the two fan leaves immediately below the topped node. I left those to still have some leaves and let the two new nodes grow a bit. At this point I had a pretty long main stem and I roughed it up a bit before potting her up to the 30 gallon tote. I submerged her in the soil so that the new main nodes are roughly 1.5 inches above the soil.
That's where I'm starting this diary and what the pictures in this week represent.
The watering system I'm using is a reservoir. The main tote is raised and put inside the reservoir tote. The main tote has a "wicking" mechanism that dips down into the reservoir tote. All I have to do to feed her at this point is mix my nutes and pour them into the reservoir tote. Pretty hands off. This week I used GH's schedule for week 2. I used a 5 gallon bucket that was filled almost to the top and used enough nutes for 2 gallons of water (according to the schedule). This put the PPM right at about 600 and I ph'd the water to somewhere around 6.3.
