Dropped new seeds early march.
This time i spent 4 seeds. YXXY
Both seeds germinated. Both of them looked fine but 1 one of them collapsed on me on the 2nd or 3rd day.
(most likely my fault because i left them out on the window and the sun was too intense ig)
3rd Seed didnt germinate
4th did but took it twice as the first.
So overall 2 plants roughly 10 days apart on their way up.
lil yellow ish tint. nothing to worry about yet. should have been more thorough with the soil
Make sure when you reuse your soil that you take your time and let it sit to homogenise. you dont want pockets of water or concentrate of any kind.
The elder plant really took of so i started with LST once the stem was felt stable to be bent down.
Colour of the plants now is nice greenish.
Seed No4. turned into Plant No2. Also pushed alot of growth since being put in the big pot.
LST does its thing.
The plant just explodes sideways.
I somehow managed to burn/stain the plant. i was pretty worried the plant was sick. the yellow spots were random in size and degree of damage and also and new groth nodes.
Edit;
Late into week 3.
Both plants look fine. Both plants shifting through the gears.
i have decided to LST one plant and TOP the other one.
the yellowing went away. Still cant figure out how the plant got those stains and spots. (burnt by water sprinkles magnifiying the light???)
EDIT:
Younger topped plant really grow nicely. 😍
The older LST only plant is just plain bush.
Left plant: LST only
Right Plant: Topped once and some LST to even out the plant.
Neat trick i learned: covering your substrate with a light coloured material helps with cooling and humidity.
regular soil is dark and heats up easily making it dry faster and the light colour on top prevents that.
(This helps to maintain a more gradual fall/rise in temps and humidity in my small 60x60 tent w/o exhaust/intake fan. maybe unnecessary if you provide better environment in the first place)
