deltabravo Starting my first grow ever.
So this is my first time germinating a seed.
I chose to let it sit in lukewarm water for two days.
The seed sank after 24 hours.
I let it sit for another 24 hours to see if it would sprout a taproot.

deltabravo She was nearly lost before she began. After 24 hours in water, I planted her directly in Bio365 soil. But she didn’t break the surface. By day four, I gently brushed the soil and found her buried deep but alive—a yellow curl with promise. I left her lightly covered, and by morning, Ada broke through. This week was about not giving up too early. A reminder that growth often happens unseen. We started slow, but we started strong.

deltabravo She spread her wings this week. Lower leaves widened and color deepened. I added more Bio365 around her base to support the stretch and keep her rooted. No top dress. No sprays. She’s growing in silence, absorbing the rhythm of the light. Every new node a sign she’s preparing.
No water was added this week, and the self-watering reservoir was maintained.

deltabravo She’s moving at her own pace — compact, steady, and low to the soil with good symmetry. While other Banana Purple Punch autos might be taller by now, she is thickening with intention. She is not a runt — just a deliberate builder.
Humidity control was tricky early in the week, but a new USB humidifier helped regulate the dome phase and acclimate her to open-air VGrow conditions. Medium was slightly backfilled with fresh Bio365 to support the stem.
We’re on track. Topping will be considered early next week if internode spacing stays tight. VPD will continue to be monitored closely as leaf mass increases.
