Converted a computer desk in a Stealth grow in my apartment. This is my first grow. Started with 5 random seeds. Dropped in water on 11 March and transferred to paper and then pots on 15 March. Aim is to have 1-2 plant. Using Premium organic Potting mix with Pearlite and worm casting pre-added. Added MYCORRHIZAL FUNGI. Added a layer of Pearlite to the top of the soil for Water retention. 300 WATT LED light with Veg and Bloom Function. Light is at 27" above plant, with 11 000 LUX at plant height. 22.03.19 *Update* Moved LED light up to 31" from soil and LUX now down to 9 500 - 10 000

I am using a 300 Watt LED light with a Veg and Bloom Function. Currently Light is 27" from soil surface and only on Veg setting. I am also using a LUX meter app (not sure how accurate they are. I am getting about 10 500 - 11 000 Lux at plant height. Is 11 000 a little bit too?

Hey there Dude! Yes that is a little high for the age of the plants. but it will be great for them once they get a little bigger until then. you may want to look into getting like 2 25watt CFL lights for the Seedling stage of life they work great for it! if you have the room it doesn't look like you do but i would also recommend looking into a 2ft T5 for the Seedling stage they work awesome but if you don't have the space the CFL;s will do the same. then once they have got out of the seedling stage pop the light you got going now back on and they will love it!👍 Hope this helps Happy Growing!!

Iinto week 2 and only 1 seed made it. It was the only one who's tap root really shot out in the first week. To be fair they were pretty old seeds that i have had in a drawer for years. I have planted some provisional seeds and have also possibly got my hands on a clone form a plant called Orange Roughie. Hopefully that works out. I will focus on this plant for now :) With my luck Maori Jane will be Maori John, but am just enjoying the first grow. If I get my clone at least I will be guaranteed a harvest. Haven't done anything special except maybe over water in the first week. Will pull that back and get the soil to dry out more between watering. I have bought a moisture meter, so will be able to track the water table especially once i go into my bigger pots. Was able to move the light up as far as I could and now have 31" to soil level. *29.03.19* Update. Soil PH is 6.5 and moisture table on outside of pot is down form 10 to 7. Any advice welcome :)

Week 3 and I have 2 plants. Second plant who shall be named Maui Wowie is about 2 weeks behind Maori Jane. 01.04.19 8am First Feeding of nutrients for Maori Jane. 3ml of Natures Own Bat Guano Super Grow in 500 ml of water and left to stand overnight. Fed very slowly I have allowed soil to dry out nicely and will start a feeding and watering regime from here. Maui Wowie is standing tall and looks nice and symmetrical whereas Maori Jane seems very squat and bushy and the leaves that are growing are not very even in relationship with each other. I wonder if this is the genetics or if something is off with my grow environment. Only time will tell. 06.04.19 5 am Fed 500 ml of water with 3ml super grow left to stand overnight

16.04.19 Transplanted into a 13 l pot. Roots look good. could have probably left in smaller pot for longer but i wanted to start the low stress training now after deciding not to try mainlining on my first grow. I am bending the main stalk along the soil and will grow it out until it gets to the other side of the container. Additionally splaying the other branches out to the side. So far the plant is looking healthy. Still have my little side plant going which I am just going to practice on.

08.05.19 Ran into some trouble. Plant was looking very dark and was curling back onto itself. The first fan leaves were showing brown splotches. Tested PH. Ph was 4.5 Seems I have added waaaaay to much nutrients. Honestly didnt think I had given too much but by the thick molasses coming out of the bottom and the PH dropping down to 4.5 means I obviously did. Flushed the soil well 3 - 4 times. Got PH back up to 6.5 - 7 after the flushes. A day later plant seems happier and is pointing back towards the light. Second plant is developing similar blotches on fan leaves. However only in the original 2 fan leaves, not on the newer ones. i was wondering if this is just light burn? I have not really added any nutrients to this plant yet and after the first plant will be very carefull on how much i use. O well first lesson. Back the fuck off the Nutes :) Any advice helpful

I have gone overboard with Nutrients. Soil PH went down to 4.5. Flushed soil and PH back up to 6.5 - 7. Getting some brown splotches on both plants but only on the older "first" fan leaves. Wondering if that is just light burn. Plant is much happier now. Backing off Nutes :)

Looks like you had an excess of phosphorus. Think of Phosphoric acid. This caused the big ph drop and caused nutrient lockout. Looks like a good save on your part to flush her hard. I would keep an eye out for cal/mag deficiencies in the newer growth over next week or two since you did such a large flush. Losing the lower fan leaves is no big deal she'll be growing more anyways. If you have a TDS meter it wouldn't be a bad idea to keep an eye on the run off ppm. Check your runoff ph also you can wind up with the ph bouncing back down if your using guano. Best of luck brother

Secondary plant getting same kind of splothches as first one. But only on older fan leaves. PH is 6.8. Haven't given any nutrients until today. Gave 4ml in 1 litre water bat guano 10-10-2. Hopefully as Philindicus said its phosphorous and this will correct. Was a bit scared after over feeding first plant.

Going well. Starting the switch to flower on Saturday 01 June. Been using Magnesium Chelate and both plants seem healthy. High hopes for Moari Jane as the colas are looking strong. Mauri Wowie is more spindly.

LAST DAY OF VEG!!! Flushed Maori (Day 77) Jane as most of the soil is at 6.5. Right at the bottom of the pot the PH is at 5.5 - 6. Still getting very acidic runnoff. She seems healthy though. Maybe a little dark in colour. Maori Wowie (Day 63)is still showing signs of phosphorous deficiency. Brown rust spots on lower older fan leaves. Fed with Super Bloom 1 - 9 - 1. 4ml in 1 litre water. Switched on the second Bloom Light function on Led. After 36 Hours Darkness 02.06.19 8.30 am Starting 12/12 light schedule 5.45 am - 5.45 pm, After the flush and feed I will run the lights today and then on Saturday 01.06.19 will force 48 hours darkness and then will go into 12/12 light schedule. (something i saw someone else mention to force the transition into flowering.)

Been feeding 10-10-2 bat guano (super grow) and now some 1-9-1 (super bloom) for 3 weeks, still getting brown dead spots on older fan leaves. Maybe still a phosphorous deficiency and plant taking awhile to intake the nutrients?

Rust spots on older leaves are sign of potassium (K) deficiency, on the other hand phosphorous (K) deficiency shows as black, dark metallic spots on lower leaves

07.06.2019 1 Week into Flower. No sign of any balls yet!! Cant really tell yet but both are looking like females "fingers crossed". I have hit Maori Wowie with a mixture of 5ml Grow (10-10-2) and 5ml Bloom (1-9-1) in 1 litre of water. I also used some of the runnoff from Maori Jane as it was still overfed. PH of runoff was 6.9. Soil is mostly 6.7 - 7 and at bottom of pot is 6 - 6.4. I removed most of the leaves that were showing a potassium deficiency so I could tell if I was getting on top of it. Definitely seems to have slowed down. some older fan leaves have started showing small signs of it but doesn't seem to be spreading.

So Maori Wowie is definitely female but Maori Jane seems to be a male. Confirmed male. Removed from box. Left with Maori Wowie. Definitely female. Have a good 12 main colas and lots of little ones. Looks like an upside down spider. :) Looking good though. Lollipopped some fan leaves to get a good amount of light into all flowers.

Day 35 Flower Humidity has been creeping up to 70% Bought some clay cat litter thinking it might bring it down. It didn't. Resorted to some damprid crystals that pull moisture out of the air. After a couple of days humidity is down to 48% - 55%. Buds seem to be filling out nicely. Got rid of limited fan leaves on bottom.

Harvested Day 65 of Flower. Removed biggest fan leaves and split plant into 2. 1st Half weighs approximately 170 grams 2nd Half weighs approximately 180 grams Total of 350 grams wet and with the main stems. 12.35 Ounces Expecting around 75 % weight loss after 7 days in drying area so target is for 3 ounces dried and cured. For my first grow pretty happy. Next 4 seeds are on day 7 and looking good. I think I can get 2 plants next grow and use more of the vertical space. Target is to double my yield for next grow. 2.5 Ounces dried and cured. 1 ounce of trim.
