AlienBucket It’s starting to smell really sweet, like chemical fruit, and has stretched quite a bit.

AlienBucket It’s getting frosty. I started adding Bud Candy instead of Top Max, and the smell has definitely been getting sweeter.

AlienBucket The smell is soo pleasant — sweet, flowery, chemical fruits. Still at least 4 weeks to go, but I’m already getting excited for an cured taste test.

AlienBucket I noticed that this plant starts to smell sweet, flowery, and fruity especially at lower temperatures. When temps rise, the aroma shifts to spicy and gassy. I’ve never seen this happen with any other strain.
I’ll definitely try to keep the temps lower from now on — hopefully, that awesome sweet smell carries over into the smoke.
Everything else looks healthy and happy. The buds are getting heavy and starting to fall over a bit. The way I BDSM’d this poor girl, the branches are a bit too flimsy to hold them up.

AlienBucket Headbud trichomes are right where I like them to be. On the lower bud sites, there’s no amber yet. I’ll let them amber up a bit, then let it dry back a little and give her 3 days of darkness before the chop.
Harvested on day 66 since the switch to 12/12.
I messed up in the middle of the grow, which cost almost a month, but the plant bounced back nicely in the end.
The bud I inspected looked more than ready, but after further checking, I realized I harvested a bit early — it could’ve easily gone another week.
I didn’t check the wet weight, but dry yield is 124 g.
Considering the grow space was only 0.14 m², that would be equivalent to about 886 g/m².
The light used was 86 watts, which results in roughly 1.44 grams per watt.
One big advantage of having such a tiny grow space on wheels: I was able to roll the whole setup onto the balcony at night. For the last week, nighttime temps dropped to around 10 °C, which caused the buds to take on reddish-pink hues and the leaves to turn black — a really nice visual touch.
After drying and about a week of curing, most of the flowery smell that filled the grow room is gone, with only subtle hints remaining.
Still, the aroma is awesome and really exotic — chemical, gassy, and with an artificial fruit note. I think it’s something that could satisfy both fruit and gas lovers.
It’s been in jars for one week now, so the flavor might still evolve. I’ll post an update once it’s properly cured.
Effect-wise, it’s clear-headed and happy, with no anxiety and no couchlock.
